Woodworker / Laminate Specialist at Taeillo

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the dimensions of structures and materials required
• Cut, shape, and join wood and other materials to create finished pieces
• Assemble wooden components to form structures using glue, clamps, and other techniques
• Sand and finish completed products to achieve a specific appearance
• Repair and refurbish damaged furniture, replacing defective parts as necessary
• Operate hand and power tools, such as saws, planes, drills, and sanders
• Follow safety procedures when handling potentially hazardous equipment and materials
• Collaborate with designers and clients to meet specific requirements.
• Set up and calibrate woodcutting machines to ensure that they are in good working conditions.
• Select and adjust proper cutting and milling tools to ensure that the job is properly done.
• Polish finished work pieces, ensuring that they are according to established standards of quality.
• Clean and maintain woodworking tools and equipment on a regular basis, aimed at ensuring that they work properly during project time.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO/ Trade Test qualification with 2 - 5years work experience.
