    Account Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all accounting transactions
    • Prepare budget forecasts
    • Publish financial statements on time
    • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely bank payments
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
    • Audit financial transactions and documents

    Requirements

    • BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • ERP experience.

    Truck Driver

    Job Responsibilities

    • Transport goods over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres
    • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
    • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
    • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
    • Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
    • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
    • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions
    • Collect and verify delivery instructions
    • Report defects, accidents or violations

    Job Requirements

    • Trucking school Diploma will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years Proven work experience as a Truck Driver
    • Valid truck driving licence/Class G licence
    • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
    • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
    • No recent moving or driving violations
    • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
    • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.

    Finance / Admin Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support in managing the financial affairs of the Company, including management and statutory accounts together with longer-term financial projections and ensure the existence and adequacy of efficient and effective financial control systems and reporting mechanisms
    • Ensure the preparation and communication of timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports for investors and/or lending institutions and management on a periodic/ad-hoc basis.
    • Develops and manages relationships with relevant external bodies/contacts e.g. regulatory organizations, auditors, solicitors, banks etc.
    • Handles the prompt administration of monthly payrolls, staff allowances and benefits and oversees tax remittance, payment of insurance premiums and other statutory fees
    • Prepares periodic (i.e., quarterly, yearly etc.) management accounts, financial projections, and other relevant financial reports, in consultation with the Financial Controller, for presentation to the Board of Directors and Investing/Funding bodies.
    • Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information, analyzing competitors, and market trends, predicting future financial trends and developing long-term business plans.
    • Undertake general admin tasks.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in statutory financial reporting and knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
    • Membership of a relevant Professional body (Local or International) e.g., the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or its equivalent.

    HR Coordinator

    Responsibilities

    • Support staff recruitment processes, including handling the application and shortlisting process, liaising with candidates, and scheduling interviews
    • Support and coordinate the onboarding process for new joiners
    • Maintain an accurate and efficient HR database with employee information and necessary documentation
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and remittances
    • Coordinate periodic HR processes, ensuring proper documentation
    • Coordinate employee training and development programs, including planning and scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and organizing training materials.
    • Assist with employee relations matters, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
    • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations by maintaining proper documentation and records. Assisting with audits and providing support during regulatory investigations.
    • Assist in gathering and collating news articles for Newsletter
    • Writes employee communications and correspondence about updates in HR policies
    • Oversee day-to-day office operations, such as maintaining office supplies, coordinating office equipment repairs, managing facility maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
    • Support the creation and execution of employee engagement initiatives and HR projects
    • Assist with the planning and coordination of meetings, workshops, and other company events. This may involve arranging logistics, preparing agendas, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing event budgets.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
    • Deal with day-to-day HR queries and advise staff in line with the current policies and procedures
    • Support with other HR tasks that might be delegated from time to time.

    Requirements

    • Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, communication, or any field with a strong interest in Human Resources Management, Administration, or Psychology
    • 3-5 years of relevant HR experience
    • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management or other recognised HR certification bodies
    • Expert knowledge of Labour Law
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Ms. Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel
