    Associate, Sales Enablement (Third Party Onboarding)

    The Role:

    As an Associate, Sales Enablement (Third Party Onboarding) at Flutterwave, you will play a crucial role to our Enterprise prospective customers,  in providing exceptional customer support and technical assistance to our clients and users. Your primary responsibility will be to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently. You will be an essential part of our mission to deliver a seamless and positive experience for our customers using Flutterwave's innovative financial technology solutions.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Customer Support:

    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone.
    • Assist customers in navigating through technical issues, payment processing, account management, and other related matters.

    Technical Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers, ensuring a timely and effective resolution.
    • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for problems related to payment processing, transaction discrepancies, account access, and more.

    Issue Tracking and Documentation:

    • Log all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in the support ticketing system.
    • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues, solutions, and best practices to facilitate consistent customer support.

    Customer Advocacy:

    • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing valuable insights from customer interactions to help improve our products and services.
    • Advocate for customer needs and provide feedback on opportunities for enhancement or improvement.

    Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated on Flutterwave's products, services, and new features to effectively assist customers.
    • Continuously develop your technical knowledge and customer service skills to provide exceptional support.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support, engineering, and product teams, to address customer concerns and contribute to ongoing improvements.

    Required competency and skillset to be a waver

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a customer service or help desk role, preferably in the payments, online banking, and financial technology industries.
    • Excellent communication skills, with a genuine passion for helping customers.
    • Good problem-solving skills, with a genuine passion for helping customers.
    • Proficiency in using customer support tools (Microsoft Excel, etc.), ticketing systems, and CRM software.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Integration Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • You will work closely with merchant technical and product teams as their primary point of contact during integration.
    • Understand user, business and product requirements and how Flutterwave APIs, SDK and other product offerings can meet them.
    • Work closely with Flutterwave’s merchant, and engineering team to understand what's technically possible with Flutterwave APIs.
    • Work very closely with Account Management and the Sales team to get merchants live and transacting with Flutterwave in the shortest time possible
    • Ability to dive into the details and help merchants with technical issues

    Requirements & Qualification:

    • 5+ years of experience, with a strong technical and payments background.
    • 2+ years of support/development experience with fluency in at least 2 programming languages.
    • An empathetic, collaborative, communicative, and consultative work style.
    • Effective time management skills to work with multiple external merchant concurrently.
    • Strong verbal and written and technical communication abilities.
    • Intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to think on your feet and dive into helping our merchants with their technical issues.
    • Be comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how they work, both from a product and technical standpoint.
    • Able to dive into the details to thrive in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
    • Ability to translate requirements into detailed design and solution documents.
    • Ability to quickly assess and troubleshoot most integration issues.

    Senior Backend Engineer - Java

    The role: 

    Flutterwave is looking for Backend Engineers – Java to design, implement, maintain and support software systems powering its products in financial domain.

    What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Like 

    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the organization's strategy, product, and service offerings.
    • Research and implement best practices technology frameworks/capability models that will control costs, provide higher quality, and/or increase reliability.
    • Research and stay abreast of the latest technology infrastructure and processes in the payment industry.
    • Career mentoring, coaching and development of a talented group of engineers.
    • Design, develop and deliver code that can support new product features/enhancements in an agile environment.
    • Development of features and RESTful APIs with an event driven Microservice architecture.

    • Collaborate in design and development with the rest of the team.
    • Maintain code integrity, organization, versioning, and apply object-oriented design principles.
    • Carry out unit tests of developed applications as well as set up automated testing of applications to ensure correctness, robustness, and scalability.
    • Always maintain code and application security with adhering to data protection and privacy standards.

    Required competency and skill set to be a Waver:

    • 5+ years of experience with Java / JEE / Spring Boot  and associated technologies.
    • Must have hands-on experience on java 8, multithreading, Jvm tuning, performance improvements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of Design Patterns.
    • Excellent Data structures and algorithms as well as creative skills to apply them in solving problems.
    • Excellent knowledge of database and ORM technologies.
    • Ability and interest to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
    • Excellent organizational and people management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and quality assurance skills.
    • Excellent time management and analytical skills.
    • Excellent DevOps knowledge including Source Control, Continuous Integration, Configuration Management, Deployment Automation, Containers, Orchestration and Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP.

    Nice to have:

    • NodeJs experience
    • Understanding of Docker/K8s
