What are your tasks?

• Responsible for the management and proper operation of the building yard and precast site
• Manufacture of precast concrete parts for bridges and road construction
• Instructions and training for local workers for their specific tasks
• Review and monitoring of occupational safety measures
• Management and coordination of local employees
• Internal reporting and documentation
• Report to the project management

Job requirements

What do you bring with you?

• Completed training in concrete construction, as a bricklayer, carpenter or comparable
• Ideally further training for certified polishing, work polishing or masters for building construction and building in existing buildings or comparable
• Knowledge and several years of professional experience of construction details and corresponding design and safety regulations as well as quality standards
• English language skills (B level)
• Independent working methods, reliability and performance orientation complete your profile!

• We offer students (m / f / d) the opportunity to complete the compulsory internship or a voluntary internship at our parent company Julius Berger Nigeria Plc in Nigeria for 5-6 months. For better planning, please state your desired period in your cover letter.
• It is used by the subsidiary Abumet Nigeria Ltd. Abumet is an experienced full-service provider of aluminum and glass with the resources to supply solutions for building construction.

What tasks do D expect?me with us?

• Support with the introduction of a SAP ERP system
• Internal coordination with various department heads
• Participation in the creation of article number ranges together with colleagues from Julius Berger Nigeria
• Compilation of Excel import lists for data maintenance
• Creation of processes, powers, organizational charts and manuals with the IT service provider and the Abumet
• Obtaining supplier offers and creating price comparisons

Job requirements

When does this internship suit you?

• You are at least in the 5th. Semester (Bachelor) Industrial engineering or business administration and can prove a current study certificate.
• You have good knowledge of German and English. 
• You are interested in working in a multicultural, international project team and you are happy to show your own initiative.
• You can already have knowledge of MS Office.
• The duration of 5-6 months is not a problem for you (please specify the desired period).
