    Contracts Manager

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • A contract manager creates and amends contracts for an employer. Contract managers write up contracts related to the purchase or sale of goods and services and then track those contracts through their lifecycles.
    • While job responsibilities vary based on company size and which types of goods and services are bought and sold, a contract manager's focus will always be on optimizing contracts with their employer's best interests in mind.

    Job Knowledge :

    Contract managers oversee contracts that their employers are involved with, so they must have in-depth knowledge of contract features. A contract manager needs to understand the advantages and pitfalls of contracts and be familiar with a plethora of contract details. Here are some of their typical duties and responsibilities:

    • Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of contracts for various transactions
    • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections
    • Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence

    Lead of Ammonia - Fertilizer Department

    • Inspections & clearance of equipment & piping, I & C systems, electrical systems, etc, during various stages of the project.
    • Controlling effluents and emissions discharge to meet statutory requirements.
    • Develop, implement and comply to the project procedures. Operations Phase:
    • Ensure effective operation of the plant during normal operation & shut-down, emergencies / up-sets to achieve planned production

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Plan, manage and develop over all aspects of the Group's tax process. Managing income tax aspects of international investment opportunities, restructuring transactions, and other international tax matters.     • 20+ years of relevant tax planning and compliance experience at senior management level. 5+ years international corporate tax experience across various countries ideally Africa / Tax heaven countries. Experience as head taxation in Big 4 will be a strong reference. Should have experience in Oil & Gas / Manufacturing / International Taxation.
    • Extensive individual and corporate tax knowledge
    • International good practices in tax administration including developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance management program.
    • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
    • Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
    • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
