    Retail Sales Lead

    SUMMARY:

    • The retail Lead is responsible for driving engagement in the retail industry, managing and motivating the retail team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with various retail outfits/management while promoting the Company's standards and services.

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business administration, or other related fields.
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of sales experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders in the retail space.
    • Clear understanding of the retail industry operations and target audience to effectively tailor retail engagement campaigns.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong salesmanship and negotiation skills to engage, close out sales deals and meet, or exceed set targets.
    • Ability to utilize data analytics tools to make data-driven decisions, refine strategies and efficiently allocate resources.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Utilize persuasive selling techniques to pitch and sell the Company's products and services in the the retail industry.
    • Generate report on sales trend, customer feedback and promotional effectiveness.
    • Actively engage in members' renewal drive to generate income based on the provided target.
    • Assist stakeholders in the retail industry with the Company's products and services enquiries, pricing and availability.
    • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas of improvement.
    • Work closely with sales products and other teams to align efforts and maximize retail impact.
    • Quick iteration on campaigns based on feedback and performance metrics.
    • Ensure that product information are complete by sourcing missing product attributes across different channels.
    • Keep abreast of retail solutions like GDSN, 2D QR Codes, Verified by the Company in order to implement their usage in the retail industry.
    • Engage in regular personal developmental trainings both internally and externally; on the LMS portal, MO Zones and other stakeholders in the industry, to continuously improve in the role.
    • Continous implementation of food traceability and collaboration with relevant stakeholders like NAFDAC, MAN, NASON and other associations.
    • Regular update of Data into the Company's OneSource Portal.
    • Continuously stay updated with retail industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Carry out other tasks assigned by the MD/CEO.
    • Ensure compliance with the Company's standards, policies and procedures
