    Engineering - Marine Lead III

    Job Description

    • Maintain / build / apply competency in specific area of Marine supervision and champion development of nationals. 
    • Identify and assist in resolving Marine Advisor resource gaps in Function. 
    • Steward the development of core competencies in Marine discipline. 
    • Administer personnel resources in Marine discipline. 
    • Responsible for NPO marine vessel safety. 
    • Provide expert Marine consultation to function and project teams. 
    • Provide technical leadership for vulnerability and risk assessments. 
    • Coordinate interface with JVO Marine Dept., EMDC and NPO organizations. 
    • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. 
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level3:
    • Secure marine warranty surveyor services
    • Proactively manage NPO marine activities and vulnerabilities; develop and implement mitigation plans
    • Identify and provide Functional and other Marine specialist resources to support installation teams.
    • Support Contractor Development Advisor in specific area of marine vessel contractors
    • Support (as requested) host country Content initiatives
    • Support host country vessel contractor capacity assessment and improvement initiatives
    • Maintain current knowledge of marine vessel contractor capabilities
    • Develop / action initiatives to improve performance level of marine vessel inspections / mooring activities

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Marine or Civil Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • High level of marine vessel knowledge ,skill and experience
    • Experience to include Master of Towing, AHT and PSV Vessels, Shore Side Marine Operations in Management of Vessels, Knowledge of all IMO and Class Requirements
    • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
    • STCWII / 2 Master(unlimited) Certificate of Competency
    • Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning Operators Certificate (Offshore Unlimited) or equivalent.
    • Minimum 48 months overall documented sea service
    • Minimum 36 months documented sea service as certificated officer onboard OSVs - consider AHTS, PSV, DSV, MPSV vessel types
    • Minimum 18 months documented sea service as Master or Chief Officer
    • Accredited OCIMF OVID Inspector or meets qualifying criteria for accreditation as OCIMF OVID Inspector.

    Operations (Gen) - Plant / Process Operator I

    Main Functions

    • Responsible for liaising with the Control Room Technician (CRT) and other Operations Technicians on job safety requirements to ensure understanding of the work objectives, safety, health, environmental, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) and security concerns.
    • Responsible for supporting the CRT/Ops Supervisor in providing oversight of the area activities and ensuring they are integrated and conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Works in a crew environment to manage activities involved with safe and efficient operation of all plant units and sulfur recovery operations. Performs surveillance of equipment.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Work cooperatively with Contractor personnel to prepare and maintain a safe work environment for their work
    • Responsible for participation in the Operations Emergency Response activities relating to the Area
    • Provide support and coordination with the Systems Completion team in start-up and commissioning of the facilities
    • Take part in the review of work packages for planned maintenance activities within allocated Area, confirms that isolation requirements are applied, and ensures that the preparation of equipment is planned in a manner that provides a safe environment in which personnel can work
    •  Endorse Work Permits as the Area Operator (AO) . Endorse Work Permits as the Isolating Authority (IA) when required.
    • Encourages team effort between Maintenance and Operations groups
    • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
    • Ensuring the CRT is informed and consulted about operations and major issues
    • Ensures good communication between Areas so that issues can be adequately addressed and actions completed
    • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in allocated Area
    • Maintain a daily log and shift change over notes
    • Safely perform physical tasks at times, e.g. moving drums of chemicals, lifting, climbing ladders/silos/tanks
    • May perform minor maintenance to equipment
    • Maintain a high standard of plant housekeeping
    • Make process changes to ensure quality control of end products that are within accepted standards.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years experience.
    • Industry experience in operations, or similar required
    • Very knowledgeable in production operations/processes
    • Knowledgeable in P&IDs, PFD’s and UFD’s
    • Able to read shut down logic diagrams
    • Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
    • Excellent communications (oral&written) in English
    • Good interpersonal and motivation skills
    • Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
    • Advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
    • Good knowledge of safety management tools and processes. (Permit to Work (PTW), Step back 5x5, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment)
    • Understanding of Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS), safety management tools and Production Operations Best Practices (POBP)/ Planning & Budgeting (P&B) processes.

    Engineering - Drill Team Quality Representative III

    Main Functions

    • Assist the Drill Team’s drilling and completion operations by developing and stewarding the Drill Team Quality Plan, including quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) functions, throughout planning and execution of well construction activities.
    • Includes oversight of quality for equipment and services provided by Drilling Service Companies and Rig Contractors.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 3 will:

    • Be an expert in the field and discipline.
    • Responsible for data integrity of the quality event database.
    • Provides training and mentoring to quality team members and drill team engineers.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • B.Sc Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution and/or previous experience in a closely related position
    • Experience in oil field related work.
    • Thorough knowledge of sound quality assurance practices. Abreast of best practices and latest technology in meeting minimum industry standards and specifications (such as API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), etc.) for manufacturing, inspecting, transporting, installing, maintaining and storing oilfield equipment.
    • Knowledge of ASNT inspection practices.
    • Knowledge of T.H.HillDS-1drill string inspections.
    • Completion of ISO9001 Lead Course.
    • Experience and knowledge of oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
    • Experience with Rig Equipment and related operations.
    • Good self-motivation and ability to influence others without authority (Drill Team, Quality Team, and Service Providers).
    • Very good organizational skills (programs, priorities, sharing/balancing the load).
    • Good business writing and computers software literate.
    • Additional Comments for suppliers: Candidate with prior ExxonMobil QAQC experience will be preferred Rate Details.
