This position is with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Country Office in Nigeria (CONIG). The National Programme Officer, Coordination with Non-State Actors will work under the overall guidance of the UNODC Representative, and direct supervision of the Project Expert, Access to Justice. S/he will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of activities aimed at increasing the role of Non-State Actors in facilitating access to justice under Outcome 3 of the project, in line with written guidelines and instructions developed by UNODC on project management cycle and project implementation

Relations
The NPPP-M&E facilitates the work of consultants, advisors, and experts and establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with counterparts in government, multi-lateral and bilateral Donor agencies and civil society to address emerging issues. S/he must effectively influence counterparts from diverse backgrounds to jointly contribute to achieving UNFPA’s mandate. The NPPP is a substantive contributor to the programme team in the Country Office. Internal contacts include the Programme Coordinator, NPO-M&E in the Abuja Office, and other CO’s programme/ technical team. External contacts include other UN agencies in country, and counterparts and partners in Country Program activities, including international and national NGOs, experts etc.
