    Field Technician Mechanical and Electrical

    URGENT RECRUITMENT

    Roles: Field Technician Mechanical, Field Technician Electrical & Operations and Maintenace Coordinator Power

    Location: Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa

    Section: Operations and Maintainace

    The ideal candidate should have experience working with a tele communication company and a trade test certificate.


    Person Specifications and Requirements

    • At least 3 years experience in the same role
    • Not more than 35 years
    • HND or Diploma in Electrical/Telecom Engineering 

    Job Description:

    1. Handles the completion of service requests (preventive or corrective) on all mechanical or other assets assigned to according to scope of work, typical as following but not limited to:

    • Generator 10KVA to 1500KVA, Servicing, decommissioning, installing or integration of generators according to standard procedures and practices.
    • Ensures that preventive or corrective maintenance is performed according to procedures and agreed checklists and that all issues are permanently closed.
    • Proper cleaning and janitorial services of the sites and assets.
    • Decommissioning, installation, troubleshooting, and any fault in the mechanical equipment.
    • Any other work assigned to from time to time.

     

    • Schedules and executes the preventive / routine maintenance jobs on all equipment under his/her assignment.
    • Attends emergency call outs, fixes the problem on equipment and restores the service within SLA, follows up the issues till permanent closure, and helps to find the root cause of problems and appropriate solutions.
    • Coordinates between NOC, immediate supervisor, client and other subcontractors for proper maintenance of his/her sites / mechanical equipment.
    • Attends to emergency service delivery through SMS / phone calls or other communication means.
    • Proficiently uses test equipment and devices on sites and analyzes test results.
    • Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrence regularly to the O&M Coordinator using i engineering’s reporting formats.
    • Ensures proper care of all company properties such as tools & equipment, vehicle, Mobile DG, and accommodation.
    • Reports all theft and litigation issues as per process and supports the O&M Coordinator, Site Security (where applicable).
    • Handles fuel delivery and consumption and supports the O&M Coordinator, Fuel for fuel management (where applicable).
    • Ensures fuel consumption of each site as per given CPH from Line manager.
    • Ensures each PM & CM activity carried out through M-ITSM & any other client software as well

    Accountant

    Job Summary

    • Maintain accounts operations for provision of accurate financial information useful in decision making.

    Responsibilities

    • Protect and preserve the company's accounting policies and assets to comply with financial reporting and control requirements
    • Analyze sales and manufacturing reports
    • Prepare consumption variance report
    • Prepare and analyze financial information - Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet schedules etc and submit to FC for review and consolidation.
    • Reconcile items like revenue (Bank, Cash etc), receivables, payables, inventories, advances and miscellaneous income to make sure they are within accounting policy definitions
    • Support and lead departments in preparing their annual budget, support FC in consolidation of the budget
    • Plan tax returns with reference (to current legislation) and ensure compliance
    • Analyze and ensure compliance to capital expenditure policy
    • Ensure timely and complete month-end and year-end closing in preparation for annual audit
    • Coordinate with external auditors to deliver various audit requirements. Ensure recommendations and internal audit queries are effectively implemented
    • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures for accountability and minimizing wastage
    • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
    • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
    • Report any suspected case of fraud to the management without bias
    • Maintain and prepare company payroll with reference to payroll changes from HR
    • Provide daily guidance to Cashier and Accounting Officer and other team
    • Prepare other key metric reports relevant for business as may be asked from time to time.
    • Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Financial Controller

    Requirements

    • B.Sc or HND in Accounting (minimum of Second Class Lower division)
    • ICAN or ACCA qualified
    • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
    • Knowledge in Advanced Microsoft Office -advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST
    • Excellent use of Tally software
    • Competence in stock taking, maintenance of records and preparation of MIS
    • Ample experience leading and working across corporate functions with financial rigor and accountability
    • Has external relationship with auditors and relevant regulatory authorities
    • Ability to express ideas clearly both in oral and written communication
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Remuneration
    N200,000 Monthly.
