    Business Manager, Corporate Banking Energy 1

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Generate new revenue opportunities from existing & prospective customers
    • Provide customers with solutions that leverage a full range of the Group’s products & services
    • Partner with Operations, Credit Risk & other stakeholders to provide exceptional service to Corporate customers
    • Collaborate with other marketing teams within his coverage area to maintain and win new mandates
    • Profiling of customers, conversion of incomplete records and providing market insights for strategic initiatives
    • Convincing and negotiating with customers to buy Corporate Banking’s Products & Services
    • Champion the drive for deposit mobilization, LAD, FX and enhance profitability
    • Manage and deepen relationships with both existing and prospective customers
    • Effective credit analysis, credit account management and collections
    • Ensure adequate staff training & development
    • Provide overall guidance and direction in the execution of the team’s functions and activities.
    • Coordinate the activities of the team and ensure adherence to the hub’s target and drive.
    • Ensure minimal customer (internal and external) complaints/issues and prompt resolution.
    • Review key team activities and performance reports, taking appropriate actions to ensure business objectives are achieved.
    • Prepare presentations and other marketing materials
    • Prepare periodic management report on activities of the team at MPR.
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    • Minimum Education:   First Degree in any discipline with professional qualifications (ACA,ACCA, e.t.c)

    Experience 

    • Minimum of ten years relevant banking experience with at least five years in a supervisory role

    Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking (Infrastructure)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Providing financial advisory and support services to clients to ensure that their corporate needs are fulfilled.
    • Resuscitate dormant accounts.
    • Coach team members to work cross-functionally to achieve team’s and group’s target.
    • Assign target to the team members.
    • Identify and establish new relationships, consistent with the bank`s commercial objectives, so that bank`s market share is maximized.
    • Identify the credit worthiness/risk appetite of portfolio clients and introduce them to relevant bank products/services accordingly to maximize portfolio revenue.
    • Review customer’s credit request proposed by the RM and make recommendation to CAP.
    • Understand the competition & formulate counter strategy to safeguard bank position & win new businesses.
    • Maintain high client satisfaction ratings through exceptional working relationships with clients with a view to increasing the Bank’s market share.
    • Ensure high quality of credit portfolio is maintained at all times in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Cross Selling of bank products and services to existing and prospective relationships to enhance business potentials and deepen market share.

    Education

    Minimum Education: First Degree in any discipline preferably business-related.

    Experience

    Minimum of 5 years relevant banking experience.

    Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking - Energy

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Initiate the winning of new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships.
    • Market bank’s products to meet customer needs
    • Negotiate & convince customers to buy the bank’s product/services
    • Manage and deepen relationships with existing customers
    • Remain abreast of the market, industry, competition and regulatory developments to contribute to the enhancement of the business
    • Provide support in the origination and execution of IBG transactions
    • Carry out due diligence on client transactions.
    • Work closely with Credit and Product Partners
    • Support transactional approval process (including business, legal and compliance, tax and accounting etc.)
    • Provide support to Credit Risk Management to ensure credit reviews are completed in a timely manner
    • Assist in Transaction Memos and provide relationship background and financial information support, as necessary 

    EDUCATION

    • Minimum Education: First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline preferably business-related. 
    • Higher Degrees/Professional Certification will be an added advantage

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience across various business segments.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    • Excellent business development experience and natural flair for sales & marketing
    • Strong credit analysis/appraisal, loans administration and account management skills
    • Ability to leverage products to increase market penetration, drive liability generation, increase profitability and market share
    • Knowledge of financial modelling, quantitative and analytic skills; and familiarity with specialized industry issues
