    Internal Control Officer

    Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING industry is looking to fill the role of an INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations 
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans 
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc 
    • Review and approve transactions in line with laid down policies.  
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process 
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement 
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings 
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee 
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum 
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions 
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards 

    REQUIREMENT

    • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
    • An ACA qualification will be an advantage
    • 3-5years experience in internal control and audit in A RECYCLING FIRM.
    • Must have experience with tools and software to be used for compliance – Odoo.com.
    • Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
    • Prior work experience in using an ERP system (Odoo etc.) and Office 365
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed report s
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
    • Strong knowledge of implementing policies and SOP
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.

    Executive Assistant

    Our client; a reputable firm in the ISP sector is looking to fill the role of an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide secretarial and administrative support services to the CEO. 
    • Act as custodian of sensitive matters and information relating to peculiar issues within the CEO’s office. 
    • Examine documents for the CEO’s review to ensure quality control and compliance with company’s procedures and policies. 
    • Monitor and manage the CEO’s internal and external correspondence. 
    • Develop corporate communication materials for the Company. 
    • Obtain weekly/monthly activity reports from departmental team leads and collate for the CEO’s review.

    REQUIREMENT

    Head, Internal Control Manager

    Our client, a reputable firm in the AGRICULTURAL SECTOR is looking to fill the role of  INTERNAL CONTROL MANAGER 

    BRIEF
    The Head, Internal Control Manager will be reporting directly to CEO and responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment through the development of policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation and monitoring compliance

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring of the group internal control framework, including group policies and key risks in order to ensure that the group has adequate controls to prevent unintentional and intentional errors in financial reporting, processes and business operations. 
    • Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance and efficiency 
    • Lead the process for internal controls reviews across the group 
    • Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to business partners, senior leadership and audit committee 
    • Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
    • Work collaboratively with business and process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts that result from internal control assessments, ensuring the effective implementation of corrective action. 
    • Actively seek standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing internal controls and deploy innovative technology where possible to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessment and review procedures.
    • Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.

    REQUIREMENT

    • BSc degree in Accounting or related course.
    • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as an Internal Control Manager in an FMCG sector. 
    • Relevant professional certification is a plus 
    • Experience and interest for how technology and systems can support internal control effectiveness and efficiency 
    • Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks 
    • Experience in structuring a business from scratch is a plus. 
    • Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail. 
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentational skills 
    • Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.

    Truck Driver

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
