    Head of Finance And Administration

    The successful candidate will report to the Group Executive Director.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic financial management and leadership support across the business, in line with the overall corporate objectives.
    • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements as per management requirement.
    • Manage and coordinate the formulation of the financial plan and annual budgets. Monitors progress towards their achievements.
    • Ensure that the organization makes all required government remittances and remits applicable taxes as and when required.
    • Efficient and effective management of all financial functions of the organization and development of risk management plans.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls and financial policies and procedures.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications and experience

    • BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline
    • Must have relevant professional certifications (ICAN or ACCA)
    • Minimum of 8-10 years' accounting experience and at least 4 years in a managerial position
    • Rich knowledge of accounting principles with strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
    • A good understanding of the accounts of an insurance broking firm will be an advantage but not compulsory
    • High degree of Integrity and Transparency is a MUST
    • Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a MUST
    • Excellent analytical and reporting skills

    Business Development Executive

    The successful candidates must be self-motivated team players with aggressive drive to increase the firm’s bottom line by driving sales. Applicants must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and must be astute problem-solvers.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets;
    • Effectively communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations;
    • Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales, terms and keep relevant records;
    • Work with the Head of Business Development to execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base;
    • Build and Enhance strong relationships with existing and potential clients by offering viable solutions;
    • Key Account Management;
    • Drive business growth across all customer segments;
    • Prepare and submit monthly and period activity/sales reports on the success of your sales endeavours.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications and Experience

    • BA/BSc/HND
    • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in an insurance, financial institution or an insurance broking firm
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
    • Customer Service Intelligence
    • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Passionate team player with good interpersonal skills
    • Relevant technical knowledge and practical experience of underwriting and insurance policies
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Good use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

    Sales Representative

    • To attract and exhibitors for the Lagos International Trade Fair and other exhibitors.
    • To drive sales through social media marketing and other marketing platforms of space allocations during the Lagos International Trade Fair and other exhibitions of the Chamber.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports to assigned Supervisor.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any social science course
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or marketing role
    • Understanding of Digital marketing as a tool to drive sales
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to work and meet up with a given sales target.
