    Job Description

    Job Objective:

    Our client is looking to hire an IT Assistant who will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the information system within the limits of requirements, specifications, cost and timelines. The position will oversee the implementation and maintenance of a stable, reliable and efficient IT environment utilizing new and existing applications, computers, networks and operating systems
    ​Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain a stable, reliable and efficient IT environment utilizing computers, networks, and operation systems.
    • Train employees on how to use the computer technology of the company properly and efficiently.
    • Implements internet connections between and within the company’s stores and offices. Visit stores in order to review the performance and the use of the computer technology implemented by the company.
    • Oversees suitable backup and security system for the company.
    • Experience with Personal Computer technology as well as Software which is required in order to provide excellent service to the organization.
    • Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations of assigned applications and computer systems, following policies and practices as defined for system access, testing, change management and support.
    • Implement new technologies and enhancements in alignment with defined company strategies and with strict adherence to defined project management procedures.
    • Actively align with business and IT partners to prioritize needs and maximize system functionality to contribute to organizational strategy and governing compliance standards.
    • Audit systems and assess their outcomes to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems of assigned areas in compliance with defined IT Security policies and practices.
    • Contribute to creating the annual department budget and ensure cost effectiveness of all assigned activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • First degree in Computer Science,or similar field or equivalent work experience
    • Proven working experience as an IT Assistant or relevant experience.
    • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
    • Good working knowledge of computer networking experience and certification is highly desired

    Underwriting Support Officer

    Job Description

    The Company is seeking to hire an Underwriting Support Officer who will be responsible for providing additional support to the Underwriter in determining whether clients can qualify for insurance policies, products or other financial services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicating with clients to get the necessary information, such as gathering credit history and other relevant background information to complete the screening process and other related transactions.
    • Reviewing and gathering financial and statistical information.
    • Provide additional support to the underwriter in determining whether clients can qualify for insurance policies or other financial services.

    Requirements

    • Good First Degree in any relevant field.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ Cognate experience as an Underwriting Support Officer or similar role.
    • Good business writing and communication skills.
    • Excellent team management skills.
    • Strong attention to details.
    • Willingness to learn on the job.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to details.
