    Assistant Clearing Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To ensure the effective coordination and supervision of all shipment documentations, invoices / debit notes and prompt follow up with treasury/finance on payment for all 3PL service providers including duty payment on behalf of clearing department.

    THE JOB

    • Receiving the shipping and terminal charges and processing the same for payment with FMN finance and treasury.
    • Liaise with clearing agents in terms of charges/invoice in scrutinizing and reconciling of any advance payment made to clearing agent with the actual job quantity/value delivered.
    • Keep proper record of clearing update (in port/in-transit) and new container shipment allocation tracker to both in-house and external clearing agents.
    • Shall ensure that all clearing agents, haulage, shipping, and terminal invoices/charges are promptly reviewed, and report same to the clearing manager for sign-off before sending it to finance for payment.
    • Review and update sea shipments including free days on the tracker and demurrage status for all shipping lines.
    • Shall follow up on all EIR FCL and EIR Empty documents with Agent, truck delivery waybill to BU/Factories.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Have problem solving skills and analytical skills.
    • Have good knowledge in MS packages.
    • Possess excellent computer skills.
    • Have technical and mental ability
    • Be physically fit and open minded.

    QUALIFICATION

    • BSc/HND in any related discipline.

    Treasury Accountant, General Ledger

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To support preparation of Financial Statement with accuracy of all Ledgers that relates to Group Treasury operations.

    THE JOB

    • Manage Financial records, support audits, maintain compliance and contribute to the company's stability and growth.
    • Timely review of Treasury Ledgers for compliance accuracy.
    • Collate and review all schedules with supporting documents/remarks for monthly financial review.
    • Ensure compliance with Internal Controls and statutory requirements.
    • Manage Intercompany transactions, payables, receivables & Banking operation.
    • Manage LC Deposit and Prepayment with full analysis showing ageing.
    • Oversee bank and Intercompany reconciliation outstanding issues.
    • Champion Balance Sheet Review and Reconciliation process as relates to Treasury operation.
    • Coordinate and attend audit request from both Internal and External Auditors.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be proficient in excel and data visualization tools.
    • Have problem solving skills and analytical skills.
    • Understand accounting standards and regulatory requirement.
    • Have experience in preparing financial reports and presentations.
    • Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.

    Dispatch and Logistics Productivity Manager

    To put in place proven processes and procedures that will drive seamless dispatches and drive high productivity in freight cost which is driven by efficiency in all elements with established controls around all logistics activities including the staff Ration warehouse to guard against loss to Flour Logistics.

    THE JOB

    • To coordinate all activities at the staff Ration warehouse in line with approved SOP towards seamless issuance of company’s products to all cadre of personnel round the year with zero variance in physical stock vs AX balance.
    • Deliver improvement in Logistics operations with improved control of transportation partnership and better mix with self-collection across product category.
    • Evaluate transporters on monthly, on volume, competency, reliability and frequency of returns due to avoidable factors.
    • Facilitate better freight rates deals through freight comparison in addition to various other reports and analysis that are required.
    • To coordinate all loading\ dispatches, establish process, procedures, and controls in all aspect of Flour Logistics Activities (Develop new SOPs while old ones are updated to reflect current realities).

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be well-grounded in AX and Qliqview.
    • Have problem solving skills and analytical skills.
    • Have good knowledge in MS packages.
    • Possess excellent computer skills.

    Power Plant - Electrician

    PURPOSE

    A Power Plant Electrical Technician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructures in efficient ways to improve plant availability and sustain equipment reliability.

    THE JOB

    • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all switchgear control circuits and generators in compliance with procedures and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) recommendations.
    • Repair and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations, conducting tests on defective equipment to identify malfunctions or failure.
    • Replace and repair equipment such as relays, switches, and indicating and recording instruments to ensure continuous operation.
    • Conduct detailed Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on failed equipment or processes and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
    • Monitor equipment loading and operate power generation systems efficiently and cost-effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in line with FMN/Honeywell safety policies.
    • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to align with Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven knowledge of how to work with electrical systems and use various hand tools (e.g. wire strippers and multimeter)
    • Have sound troubleshooting knowledge and skills with the ability to find and solve problems quickly.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    QUALIFICATION

    • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test.
    • Technical Certificate is an added advantage.

    Checker Internal Auditor

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To ensure that internal control processes are effectively monitored to minimize losses and waste.      

    THE JOB 

    • Ensure that the actual quantity of products stated on gate pass/manual waybill/authority to load is loaded into trucks.   
    • Ensure proper documentation of product load-out in a register/loading chat.  
    • Reconcile gate pass and invoice at the loading bay before appending signature on the loading documents. 
    • Physical verification of local supplies at stores/offices and treatment of vendors’ waybills in line with Internal Control procedures.  
    • Witness diesel transfer from diesel tank at FMN to FMN and Golden Sugar Power Plants.  
    • Document supply items on store monitoring register.  
    • Validation of shipping/loading documents on Axapta at exit gates in all operational locations.  

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures.  
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team   
    • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
