    Marketing/Sales Executive

    Our client in the hospitality industry is currently in need of a Marketing/ sales representative for immediate employment.

    INDUSTRY: Hospitality 

    LOCATION: Lekki

    JOB DESCRIPTION 

    • Formulate brand plan and propose various marketing strategies in accordance to corporate policy for hospital brand

    • Carry out research activity related to marketing plan

    • Weekly progress reports should be submitted in brief to management about the activities assigned.

    • Take care of all the publishing material of the hospital 

    • Prepares marketing plans for increasing patient acquisition and develops leads through contacts with community organizations and other referral sources.

    • Develop marketing strategies and implement marketing campaigns that enhance the organization’s brand.

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, they include:

    • Improve Brand visibility and rating and create top of the mind awareness across customers, performance artistes and audiences.

    • Put in place customer service standards and institute a customer engagement/ feedback mechanism which includes customer reviews and customer related statistics

    • Update Brand manual Company manual and all sales/ brand assets required to sell the company

    • Create a stakeholder mapping and customer/ audience database

    • Generate new business products, services, leads and contacts and convert them into profitable revenue streams.

    • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

    • Create target market

    • Understand the Business strategy and create Marketing plan, Target market list and alignments

    • Create, Manage and Sell the organization’s programs, services, products and facilities

    • Develop alignment - offering unique selling proposition

    • Plan and manage a comprehensive entertainment program and special events.

    • Prepare and manage annual budget plans and financial reports that account for revenues and expenditures.

    • Build strategic alliances with the spectrum of players and relevant groups within the industry and solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth - these may include joint productions or barter relationships

    • Complies with Policies, Protocols, and Procedures;

    • Works with Social Media Officer to ensure alignments

    • Performs public relation duties; responds to complaints, prepares news releases, information and marketing bulletins or other publicity on recreation activities;

    • Market the Centre’s programs and attain planned financial targets.

    • Ensures updates of the website, brochure, and social media; and to develop alternative funding sources for programs and improvements

    • Coordinates programs with department staff and other agencies and organizations.

    • Studies local conditions and develops immediate and long-range plans to meet

    • recreational and entertainment interests of relevant age groups;

    • Market company’s end-to-end solutions, services and products and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

    • Provide timely and accurate progress reports and business trends in prescribed formats and intervals to track progress, exploit possible business opportunities and develop new services, products, and distribution channels.

    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and participation platforms or channels that will lead to an increase in visibility and revenues.

    • Serves as technical adviser and advises CEO/ Board on strategic plans

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualification Requirements

    Education and / or Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in: Arts and Entertainment Management, Business and Management of Entertainment / Recreational Spaces, Business Administration or any other related field.

    • At least four (4) years progressive experience in similar position is required.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

    • Knowledge of the rules, regulations and policies relating to maintaining recreational and entertainment spaces.

    • Have a fair Understanding of the operations of recreational areas, restaurant/ eating areas and entertainment sites.

    • Knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting and revenue generation and cost optimization

    • Knowledge of the processes involved in accounting for receipts and expenditures and budget estimates.

    • Knowledge of current recreational needs, entertainment interests, trends, and facilities.

    • Knowledge of audience building and public relations techniques.

    • Ability to analyze and appraise facts and precedents in making management decisions.

    • Ability to organize, evaluate, and present and communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing.

    • Ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, relevant agencies, various stakeholders including the public, government, embassies, organizations that offer grants, corporates etc.

    • Ability to work independently within frameworks, policies and budgets.

    • Has natural flair for the various genres of entertainment.

    Quantity Surveyor

    Job Objective / Role Definition

    • Prepare BOQ and Budgets for projects and monitor such projects to ensure that company’s Profit, Time and Quality objectives are achieved consistently.

    Key Accountabilities

    Profitability:

    • Ensure that targeted profit margins for each project milestones are achieved. This should be done through very strict project monitoring programs.

    • Major Result’s measurement: Target profit is defined as stated BOQ profit plus 15% savings on projected material wastages on project site.

    BOQ, Project Budget and Quotation for Variation Work

    • Ensure that accurate and reliable Bills of Quantities and Budget are prepared for all projects and approved by relevant authority.

    • Copies of approved budget must be made available to the Site Project leader and the Accountant.

    • Quotation for variation works must be prepared and the consultant QS approval obtained at least a week before commencement of the job on site except in exceptional cases that must be brought to the prior knowledge of the senior Engineer or General Manager as appropriate.

    • Major Result’s measurement: Zero incidence of late submission of quotation for variation work.

    Material Requisition and Delivery to Project Site:

    • Ensure that all materials required on project site are made available timely.

    • This includes the following steps which must be effected on time.

    • Establish re-order levels for all frequently used materials for each site.

    • Request must be made early to allow sufficient time for approval and ordering and timely delivery of material to site.

    • Monthly stock position must be taken and figures obtained included in monthly project status report.

    • Any issue(s) that could cause a delay in the ordering process must be reported to the GM or MD.

    • Major result’s measurement: Zero incidence of non-delivery of required material to site.

    Cost Vetting and Payment:

    • Ensure that all requests for payment and reimbursement are properly vetted before presentation for approval for payment.

    • The following procedures must be followed for payment approval.

    • Request from site Engineers must be accompanied by a signed job completion certificate.

    • Request must be vetted and passed on for approval without delay. Engineers must not be allowed to be idle in the office waiting for payment approval. All disagreement must be resolved within the hour and request approved or rejected.

    • Major result’s measurement: Zero incidence of pending payment not caused by lack of fund.

    Reports:

    • Prepare and submit at agreed times the following Reports:

    • Valuation Report (Monthly)

    • Project Financial Report status - This report will contain information on end of period status report, cost/budget performance and cost projection for the next period- (Fortnightly). Site Inventory position must be reported for the end of month report.

    • Material cost Survey update report (Monthly)

    • Major result’s measurement: A report is deemed late not when submitted 24hrs after the due date. Poorly reports e.g. reports with inaccurate data and submissions will be penalized.

    Project Tracking and Implementation:

    • Track and Evaluate Project performance against stated performance indicators and remediate as required.

    • Major result’s measurement: Tracking reports must be submitted as when due and any deviation from agreed milestones must be investigated and remedial actions taken for negative deviations Whilst actions that resulted in positive deviation are reinforced.

    Punctuality:

    • Ensure that you are at your work station on time. Lateness and cases of absenteeism will be penalized.

    • Major result’s measurement: Attendance Logbook will be maintained on all sites

    Initiative:

    • QS must be able to function with minimum supervision. Exhibition of skillful application of knowledge in achieving desired results will be highly rewarded.

    • Any suggestion or initiative that result in improved processes, better quality work or increased profit will be rewarded with significant points.

    • Major result’s measurement: Problem resolution on site with minimum assistance from senior management, innovative cost saving initiatives etc will be rewarded.

    Customer Service:

    • Ensure that a good and cordial working relationship is maintained with the client at all times.

    • Major result’s measurement: Positive feedback from client on customer service.

    Time Management:

    • Very quick response to the site Engineer’s request for materials or funds for labour payment or jobs already done or to be done.

    • Major result’s measurement: Unless for exceptional cases, all requests must be attended to within a few hours.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • B.Sc or HND in Quantity Surveying

    • 8 years experience in a construction company

    • Must have managed projects individually valued at N300m.

    • A thorough knowledge of construction contracts management

    • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

    Remuneration

    • N200,000 - N400,000 per month, gross package.
