Job Summary

• We currently seek an individual with a history of successful performance to function as Video Editor in our office in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Creative Director and other Content Creation Team members in shooting distinctive videos.
• Provide creative input (ideas, lighting techniques, camera movements, lenses filters etc.) to video production/shoots planning.
• Ensure top-notch colour grading of shoots.
• Edit raw footage content for producing film and video.
• Perform video and audio editing based on story sequence and continuity.
• Cut video sequences effectively to ensure the scenes are seamless and flow logically.
• Perform video editing including inserting music, sound effects, storyboarding etc.
• Organize and assemble video segments to deliver continuous and sequential story of specified length.
• Resolve technical issues as required.

Qualification / Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor.
• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Adobe PRO, InDesign
• Team player that works for the greater good of the team.
• Sound knowledge of filming.
• Good time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
• Develop valuable connections between clients’ requests, the company’s in-house strategy and creative work to meet and surpass client demands and expectations.
• Lead Creative Direction, Content Generation and Video Production for Clients
• Play a key role in preparing and delivering creative presentations and creative updates to management and clients.
• Working with client services, and creative and production resources to ensure that deadlines and client budgets are adhered to and client expectations are exceeded.
• Leading and building a team to develop engaging creative work – anything from determining a strategy to designing visual identity, packaging, content, and interactive and branded experiences.
• Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for a diverse group of individuals.
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions for idea collation.
• Write and design unique and well-crafted contents that meet clients’ needs and the company’s standards.
• Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.

Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative role.
• Hands-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphics design and brand development
• Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro etc.
• Outstanding leadership and organisation skills
• Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
