    Product Manager - Growth

    About the role

    • We’re searching for an experienced Product Manager to join the Growth team at Kuda. As a member of the Product Growth function, you will be responsible for owning the development and execution of our Web Experience and SEO strategy. 
    • As a Product Manager in Growth, you’ll partner with our Growth, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Content and Design teams to create a roadmap of powerful SEO content, memorable web experiences and data-driven experiments. 
    • You'll work with a high-performing, entrepreneurial, and product-focused group of engineers and marketers, in a highly collaborative and fun environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership of kuda.com, ensuring we remain at the forefront of content, SEO trends, website performance and user experience
    • Together with our Leads for Growth, Engineering, Marketing and Content, you will create a clear vision for how we execute and continuously evolve Kuda.com.
    • Develop and execute a product strategy for our website, focused on how we can increase our organic visitors and conversion from web to transacting users.
    • Own the full product discovery and delivery process, from identifying the problem to ideating/research to delivering and then iterating
    • Working with our web engineering team, monitor, understand and improve our web infrastructure
    • Work closely with all departments in Kuda to ensure that all important and relevant content is accessible, up to date and performing effectively.
    • Collaborate with growth analysts on forecasting, target setting and reporting all aspects of organic performance.
    • Coordinate resources, and create project timelines, to ensure on-time delivery with the highest quality
    • Deliver features and products that will create amazing user experiences and validate these with customers

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on experiences, conversion from web to app and implementing/managing a CMS
    • You possess a deep understanding of the operational, technological, and strategic aspects essential for executing successful web products.
    • Proven experience executing SEO strategies effectively.
    • You have designed, built and implemented content, web journeys and high ranking content
    • Test & Learn Mindset; you are focused on failing and learning fast using experiments and data to lead the way
    • Making an Impact: you have a proven track record delivering impactful changes, in particular web to app conversion
    • Bias for Execution; you focus on defining the right MVP, making difficult trade-offs, and shipping effective features
    • Exceptional Curiosity; you’re unafraid to ask questions, tinker, and learn to help drive product success
    • You will have a strong understanding of the web and app ecosystems.

    UX Writer

    About the role

    • We're looking for an excellent UX writer with experience working on fintech apps and websites. If you pay attention to detail and you're keen on doing user research, simplifying user interaction flows, and helping users understand products, you'll be a great fit at Kuda.

    Responsibilities

    • Write and edit clear UX copy
    • Provide functional and editorial quality assurance on copy
    • Understand and use our style guide and brand tone
    • Use customer data to define copy direction and improvements
    • Edit copy for user guides
    • Lead copy coherence efforts across apps and websites
    • Work with the Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, Graphic Design and Motion Design teams.

    Requirements

    • Three years of experience writing user-facing UX copy for apps and websites, preferably at a fintech.
    • A portfolio of writing and content samples
    • A passion for apps and simple user journeys
    • Experience working with customer research
    • A collaborative approach to work
    • Some experience working with interaction and visual design would be a bonus.

    Growth Marketer - Loyalty and Special Projects

    About the role

    • Kuda is looking for an experienced Growth Marketer who will be responsible for executing acquisition, retargeting and retention campaigns, monitoring campaign performance and analysing data to identify trends. This role will focus on loyalty programs and other special projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Own the growth marketing strategy relating to loyalty, referrals and viral loops with the objective of improving activation and retention of existing customers as well as acquiring new high value customers.
    • Lead growth marketing efforts on ad hoc special projects, depending on business need. These are likely to include credit campaigns and operational updates as well as a variety of future projects that may be added to the roadmap.
    • Execute acquisition campaigns across multiple digital channels, including paid social, search, programmatic and other relevant channels.
    • Develop and execute App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategies across the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android) to maximise visibility and conversion rate.
    • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other relevant channels.
    • Monitor campaign performance and optimise campaigns based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, user acquisition cost, and retention rates.
    • Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and improve the user experience.
    • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and develop and execute campaigns based on data-driven insights.
    • Work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure our campaigns align with our roadmap and user needs.
    • Be adaptive to business needs and take on ad hoc projects as required.
    • Explore ways to utilize available technology to analyse, optimize and scale growth marketing efforts.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in growth marketing, and share insights with the rest of the team.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3 years experience in marketing or a related field.
    • Previous experience working on marketing strategies for loyalty programs
    • Strong understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies, as well as some experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
    • Strong understanding of marketing channels such as paid social, email, push notifications, and other relevant channels.
    • Strong analytical skills and an interest in data analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of mobile app analytics tools such as Mixpanel, AppsFlyer (or similar)
    • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such Iterable (or similar)
    • Passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
    • Nice-to-have: experience working for a fintech or gaming app

    Content Writer

    About the role

    • We're looking for a creative Content Writer with experience writing for a news, tech, or finance brand.
    • You'd be a great fit for this role if you pay attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you're passionate about writing that has a Nigerian context and can appeal to millennials and zoomers.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan content development and manage Kuda's editorial calendar
    • Create compelling, grammatically correct and thoroughly researched articles, landing page content, blog posts, and social media content
    • Optimise content to meet SEO best practices
    • Manage the Kuda Help Centre
    • Proofread and edit content from teams across Kuda
    • Research and stay up-to-date with Nigerian and global fintech trends and news
    • Learn our brand tone and use it flawlessly in content development.

    Requirements

    • At least three (3) years' experience writing for a known tech, news or finance brand
    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • An understanding of digital content strategy
    • A proveable knowledge of SEO best practices including keyword research and integration
    • A passion for fintech and writing for a Nigerian audience
    • Excellent people and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with content management systems would be a bonus
