    Lead, Data Assurance

    Job Description

    • This role ensures the accuracy of all bank reconciliation officers checks and balances of postings into the ERP vis-à-vis bank ledger. The role supervises the bank reconciliation officers.
    • The role is to ensure quality and near perfect data accuracy of posted payments by thorough second-level checks carried out by bank reconciliations officers.

    Duties& Responsibilities
    Data Assurance Supervisor:

    • Review all data for errors and report any unusually findings to management.
    • Collect and determine completed of all information posted into the ERP vis-à-vis bank ledger.
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports regarding sales information or areas to be improved upon.
    • Ensure proper updates of required software and train existing/new posting officers as needed on company processes.
    • File and organize paperwork used to enter data into programs to keep a record of original documents.
    • Any other tasks as may be assigned by management.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related Degree.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience with knowledge of commercial credit risk strategies.
    • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required.
    • Superior communication, organization and presentation skills desired.
    • Experience with and in the use of IFRS.

    Job Knowledge:

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and comfort with evaluating financial statements and business models across a range of industries.
    • Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes.
    • Possess a working knowledge of consumer credit risk management and sound market and industry knowledge.
    • Have an understanding of the key drivers of consumer loan/credit card financials and the underlying consumer behaviors that drive those financials.

    Performance Management Executive (Policy / Structure Development)

    Job Summary

    • The Incumbent is to design performance management systems, structures and policies for sales and other operational units. He/she will ensure each unit has a job profile, and develop initiatives across all sales and non-sales channels aimed at cost reduction and profit maximization for the company.

    Underwriting Process Analyst

    Job Summary

    • The Underwriting Process Analyst will maintain the credit quality and the credit analyses strategies, processes and policies of the company, as well as the flow of operations within the unit
    • Work with the performance management and business operations teams in designing the right structure, flow and proper execution of identified processes and policies
    • In this role, you will be responsible for documenting, monitoring, and improving our end-to-end process to manage chargeback risk.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure optimal performance of all automated processes, review same periodically and recommend launches, improvements and changes when necessary.
    • Help manage daily workflows to increase understanding of processes and pain points
    • Work closely with our Operations and Underwriting teams to identify process improvement opportunities
    • Identify the key levers that have the greatest impact on operational efficiencies
    • Maximize efficiency in an environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are expected
    • Build strong relationships with Disputes, Recovery, Fraud, Customer Support, and Account Management teams to maximize success
    • Constantly ensure a balance between profitability and growth for the organization.
    • Ensure and maintain a well and clearly defined business structure for proper decision making.
    • Monitor these flows and operations to ensure optimality, adherence and compliance.
    • Articulate, design and implement highly effective underwriting processes and translate same into actionable pieces of information that can be leveraged on by the underwriters
    • Develop strong analysis framework that will guide underwriting process.
    • Ability to detect and understand competitive differentiators that makes the difference from other process.
    • Utilize analytics to monitor process performance and support policy change
    • Identify and resolve gaps in current operational processes and policies to mitigate operational errors.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years and above experience with a financial background.

    Head, Risk & Strategy Portfolio

    Duties and Responsibilties
    Lead, Credit Strategy & Portfolio:

    • Lead projects and initiatives in identifying new client’s segmentation opportunities and strategies
    • Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to pursue specific financial and credit goals
    • Develop complete business cases for new opportunities, inclusive of financial modeling and forecasts
    • Develop or contribute to the development of complex predictive analytical models (risk, loss, decision)
    • Evaluate new risk products (data-only or data-driven solutions) offered by external vendors or partners
    • Drive enhancements to credit decision process and policies
    • Build successful and scalable strategies for variety of loan and leases
    • Perform trend, regression analysis and key metric forecasting
    • Manipulation of large data to extract key insights using statistical concepts
    • Clear and concise communication of key insights into actionable recommendations
    • Management of projects at various stages from conception to execution
    • Ensure projects are in line with management plans and timelines

    Job Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degree
    • 6+ years of quantitative analytic modeling experience or comparable process management experience
    • 5+ years of Credit or Collections risk management experience, preferably with a non-bank financial sector
    • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required.

    Underwriting Policy Strategist

    Job Summary

    • Underwriting Policy Strategist will carefully monitor the underwriting unit’s policies and constantly define necessary policies, optimizing same for effective performance, as well as translating and communicating high-level directions for ‘front line’ underwriters, i.e., underwriters assessing risks on individual accounts, to follow. This opportunity is also responsible for effectively guiding every single intermediary step and decision in the underwriting activities, resulting ultimately, to a perfectly executed underwriting strategy.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop strategies that can enable risk control.
    • Collaborate with strategic business leaders in designing and implementing strategic credit analysis policies, as well as driving same to ensure optimal performance.
    • Develop strategies to determine loan risk and customer behavioral trend.
    • Partner with business units and other stakeholders to develop credit strategies to meet business goals
    • Monitor the existing policies and develop new ones to ensure that the portfolio quality is within expectations while enabling business growth.
    • Keep abreast of latest analytical tools and techniques and use them to develop strategies
    • Act as gatekeepers to ensure adequately priced and fairly selected exposures are entering the company’s books.
    • Monitor competition’s contracts and strategies and with it, ensure adequate benchmarks in line with the company’s risk appetite.
    • Liaise with the product department to analyze all products and product features, and consequently, design an effective strategy around first level analyses before disbursement.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any relevant field.
    • Highly analytical and love to analyze data to generate information
    • Excellent communicator to present and explain your proposes and reviewed policies to multiple internal stakeholders
    • Have 2+ years of experience managing credit for unsecured lending portfolios
    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS principles and changes.
