    Finance and Administrative Assistant

    Job Description 

    Slum2School Africa seeks an experienced Finance and Administrative Manager with proven experience in designing, operating and upholding financial standards in accordance with international best practices. The ideal candidate must be experienced in distributing the financial resources of the organization, and be responsible for budget planning, supporting the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company and effectively reporting to diverse stakeholders.

    The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring that Slum2School’s finances are managed effectively and in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.

    About you To be successful in this role you must have:

    • At least 4 years of practical experience in a managerial or senior financial/administrative management position preferably in a reputable NGO (preferred but not exclusive).
    • A proven experience in managing large budgets (over 500,000 USD a year).
    • A strong experience in working with national partners, local/government authorities
    • Full proficiency in spoken and written English,

    Partnerships Manager

    Job Introduction

    Slum2School Africa seeks a Partnership Manager with proven experience in identifying, building, and maintaining strong external relationships with local and international partners.

    From day one, the Partnership Manager will have an immediate impact on productivity, fundraising, streamlining opportunities, overseeing partner relationships, and communicating objectives between stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, grant management, fundraising, partnership management with a special focus on building and retaining high level partners. 

    Working to achieve the organization’s long-term fundraising goals through strategic partnerships, external relations management, brand positioning, implementing and sustaining effective financial and partnership growth strategy/models.

    The Partnership Manager will have passion and enthusiasm for Slum2School Africa’s mission, and an unwavering commitment to making Slum2School Africa a high-performing Pan-African Development organization while serving as the focal point between external stakeholders and the organization.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

    • BSc and/or MSc/MBA or relevant graduate degree in Management, Communications, or a related field.
    • 5 years of experience in a related mid or senior-level management role.
    • Proven record of fundraising experience in a for-profit or nonprofit organization.
    • Proven record of leadership skills at a mid or senior organizational level.

    • Excellent communications skills, oral and written, including the ability to develop relevant pitch decks.

    Human Resources and Volunteer Manager

    Slum2School Africa seeks an energetic individual to manage Slum2School’s growing community of staff, volunteers within and outside Nigeria. The Human Resource and Volunteer Manager will be charged with ensuring Global best practices in ensuring the recruitment, engagement, management, and talent development of Slum2School’s staff and volunteers.

    The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, or other related areas. 
    • 3 – 5 years of experience in a related role.
    • Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (HRCI, SHRM-CP, PHR, APHR)
    • Proven record as human resources manager or relevant experience in a for-profit or nonprofit organization.
    • Proven record of leadership skills at a mid or senior organizational level.
    • Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law.
    • Knowledge of staffing and employment practices.
