    CVA Assistant

    Job Summary

    • This role will be responsible to implement the cash transfer activities of the Cash Emergency response project in Borno state ensuring that the cash transfer component is delivered in a timely manner and to a high quality. He/ she will work closely with the project team as well as the MEAL team.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Project team to implement cash activities.
    • Coordinate all the CVA activities in the various LGA of Implementation.
    • Assist in sensitization of local government structures, communities, and traditional authorities on the targeting criteria and identification and registration of beneficiaries.
    • Work close with MEAL staff to onboard enumerators to support the registration of households receiving cash transfers.
    • Manage (mode of cash transfer delivery) and work closely with relevant teams to ensure pre-paid cards are loaded correctly.
    • Oversee delivery of regular cash transfers and help ensure the resolution of any problems.
    • Actively participate in relevant field assessments to identify the beneficiaries’ needs and viable business opportunities, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a specific analysis of children’s needs.
    • Organize the training of cash beneficiaries on the identified needs.
    • Conduct the implementation and monitoring of all activities, at the field level, as laid out in the detailed implementation plan.
    • Support in the registration of target families, ensuring that the data is collected and recorded appropriately.
    • Coordinate activities with local authorities, international community members, other implementing actors, and partners at the local level.
    • Compile and submit regular project reports and updates.
    • It applies equally to all beneficiaries irrespective of their age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexuality, marital status, or religion; and is achieved through ensuring that all staff and other representatives are aware of the problem of child abuse and sexual exploitation, the risks to children and their responsibility to ensure children are not harmed or put at risk during program implementation activities.

    Information Management Officer

    Job Summary

    • The holder of this position will support the integration, archiving, and extraction of large datasets for cross referencing and statistical analysis. It also involves designing workflows and data collection models where necessary.
    • The holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a dissemination strategy for all information products for FRAD Foundation

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The MIS officer will Play a lead role in the design, development, management and improvement of data management systems including database and spreadsheets, along with related process for data collection, cleaning and verification;
    • The MIS officer will maintain a client-oriented approach that ensures the FRAD provides high-quality information management services and products to the FRAD office and to members of the humanitarian community;
    • The MIS officer collect, compile, analyses and reporting of various primary and secondary data from various sources and organize the structural record keeping and archival.
    • The Officer will customize system vocabularies;
    • He/she will contribute to the application of FRAD Metadata Standards and Record-Keeping Policies, including but not limited to the application of metadata standards, project documentation standards and document management conventions.
    • Support and participating in analytical work by processing data and information in a suitable format;
    • Maintain a close working relationship with counterparts in partner agencies and organizations;
    • Liaise with FRAD staff and partners to ensure that database development, data entry, and data extraction methods provide optimum functionality and usability to stakeholders and FRAD clients;
    • Conducting regular trainings for sector/cluster members and working closely with the MEAL focal points making sure that the process of data entry is going smoothly;
    • Working with the FRAD team in order to produce reports, maps and charts from the data;
    • Promoting the adoption of FRAD Information Management tools and techniques by FRAD staff and partners;

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
    • 2 years’ experience in planning for monitoring and evaluation.
    • Computer skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, power bi, QGIS and Excel
    • IT literate
    • Experience in Electronic Data Collection.
    • You are required to have at least 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in the area of information management system, previous relevant experience with a NGO sector is an advantage

    Desirable skills:

    • Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Officer suite.
    • You are required to be knowledgeable in managing databases, producing reports and good with figures
    • You must be committed to the ethics and code of conduct of the MIS profession and familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards.
    • You must understand data protection and the need for confidentiality. You must have strong written and oral communication skills; the ability to explain and visualize complex issues to expert and non-expert audiences; and excellent presentation skills.
    • You must be a good team player able to organize and prioritize workload.
    • You must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues at long distances.

    Capacity Building Officer

    Job Summary

    • The position holder will be responsible for capacity assessment, partnership building, developing training programs and providing technical assistance to FRAD Foundation

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The officer will collaborate with stakeholders to identify capacity gaps and training needs within the organization and humanitarian partners.
    • Design and develop comprehensive training programs, curricula, and materials tailored to address identified gaps
    • Create engaging and interactive localization training content using a variety of instructional techniques and tools approved by FRAD.
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars for diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually.
    • Utilize effective facilitation techniques to engage participants, encourage participation, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas requiring capacity building interventions both within FRAD staff and partners.
    • Utilize surveys, interviews, and other assessment tools to gather information about existing skills and knowledge levels.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
    • Required to have at least 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in the area of Organizational capacity building development, previous relevant experience with a NGO sector is an advantage
    • Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Officer Suite.
    • You are required to be knowledgeable in content creation and management,
    • Must be committed to the ethics and code of conduct of the OCA profession and familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards.
    • Good Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
    • Must understand data protection and the need for confidentiality.

    Desirable skills:

    • Must have strong written and oral communication skills; the ability to explain and visualize complex issues to expert and non-expert audiences; and excellent presentation skills.
    • Must be a good team player able to organize and prioritize workload.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues at long distances.
    • Must understand how to encourage participation, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
    • He/ She must be able to use feedback to make continuous improvements to training content and delivery
