    Executive Assistant

    Job Description:

We are currently looking for an executive assistant to support the founder and the Management Governing Council of KCP. The ideal candidate for the job will be a solution-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. He/She will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to management. Given the dynamic nature of KCP, we expect the ideal candidate to be flexible with foresight while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidence related to high-level systems and operations.

    Objectives of this role:

    Based in Jos, Nigeria, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting and coordinating all correspondence between the founder, MGC and all internal and external communication. The EA will also be responsible for carrying out the following tasks;

    • With a primary responsibility of supporting the founder, provide support to the governing team as directed to ensure that KCP’s goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.
    • Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the highest-ranking executives organization-wide, coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
    • Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
    • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld

    Essential Functions:

    Under the technical supervision of HR, the Executive Assistant will:

    • Manage professional and personal scheduling for the founder, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other organizational logistics.
    • Screen all incoming phone calls, inquiries, visitors, and correspondence, and route accordingly
    • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives
    • Manage, coordinate, and arrange founder’s travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination
    • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
    • Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing system and contact database
    • Take minutes during meetings
    • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the organization
    • Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management
    • Superb written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems
    • Experience overseeing budgets and expenses
    • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
    • Ability to keep organization’s information confidential
    • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
    • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision

    Education Sales Officer

    About KCC FAR CENTRE:

    Trinity Western University (TWU) Canada and the Kingdom Citizen College (KCC) has established a Facilitated Academic Resource Centre ("FAR Centre") in Jos Nigeria at which TWU facilitators and students taking online classes can attend in person for tutoring and coaching support. The U1 program provides students with the option of undertaking year one of undergraduate and master’s degree coursework in Nigeria and thereafter conclude in Canada. With the FAR Centre, students also have the option of undertaking the whole program in a fully automated smart classroom in Nigeria. A Canadian bachelor's and master’s admission and subsequent degree certificates qualify students to obtain a direct work permit in Canada if they decide to do so.

    Job Summary

    Based in Jos, Nigeria, the Education Sales Officer will be responsible for implementing the sales plan of the KCC FAR Centre through a rigorous marketing and sales drive with technical supervision from the Coordinator.

    • The Education Sales Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Coordinator
    • Will participate in project reporting, sales and marketing presentation of the FAR Centre.

    Essential Functions
    Under the technical supervision of the Coordinator, the  Education Sales Officer  will:

    • Take inbound inquiries from web-page, social media and responds accordingly
    • Expedite enrollment enquiries
    • Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
    • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
    • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
    • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
    • Understanding and promoting FAR Centre’s products.
    • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
    • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services of the FAR Centre.
    • Maintaining client records.
    • Answering client questions about course offerings, products, prices, and availability of courses offered at TWU.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in sales.
    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • A commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and prospective clients.
    • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise
    • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
    • Social media marketing, Graphic design and content creation skills are added advantage
    • Education marketing skills preferred
    • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
