    Pharmacy Intern (Retail)

    Job Summary:

    As a Pharmacy Intern in our retail pharmacy store, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will assist with various pharmacy operations, patient care, and customer service. This internship provides a unique chance to apply your pharmaceutical knowledge in real-world scenarios and develop your skills for a rewarding career in pharmacy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Medication Dispensing: Assist in the accurate and safe dispensing of prescription medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.
    • Patient Consultations: Interact with patients, addressing inquiries, and providing medication counseling on proper usage, side effects, and precautions.
    • Prescription Verification: Assist in verifying and processing prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
    • Inventory Management: Help manage pharmacy inventory, including restocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and maintaining proper storage conditions.
    • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, assisting walk-in customers, and addressing their needs and concerns.

    Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
    • Possession of a valid and current license to practice as a pharmacy intern, as required by local regulations.
    • Strong interest in pursuing a career in retail pharmacy.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and documentation.
    • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Willingness to learn and take direction from licensed pharmacists.

    Additional Requirements:

    Job Summary:

    As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a key member of our team at our Lekki location. You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and support, with a strong focus on knowledge of pharmaceutical products and retail pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive in-store experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers promptly, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
    • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medications, and health-related items to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
    • Medication Guidance: Assist customers with medication-related questions, dosage instructions, and potential interactions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
    • Sales Support: Promote sales of pharmaceutical and retail products, suggesting additional items based on customer needs and preferences.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all pharmaceutical regulations, including record-keeping, prescription verification, and controlled substance protocols.
    • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to management to improve product offerings and customer service.

    Qualifications:

    • Candidates should possess an HND, B.Sc qualification. (Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field is an advantage).
    • Proven experience 2 years as a Customer Service Representative in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, OTC medications, and health-related items.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and transactions.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
    • Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
    • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
