    HR Business Partner

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    • We are a mid-tier law firm seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team. seeking providing strategic HR support and guidance to the senior management and senior associates in the Firm to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives which support the Firm’s overall business objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • In conjunction with the Practice Manager, act as a strategic partner to the senior Management Team and Senior Associates to understand their business objectives and develop HR strategies to support them.
    • Support Firm-wide change initiatives, and partner with the Management Team and Senior Associates to ensure successful implementation.
    • Develop and manage the key HR strategies to align the Firm’s overall business objectives, including the talent management strategy, learning and development strategy, performance management strategy and compensation strategy to meet the Firm's business needs.
    • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to ensure that the Firm maintains a high performing culture, taking into consideration key metrics that underpin the balance of well-being and productivity.
    • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
    • In conjunction with the Practice Manager coach Senior Associates on effective leadership and management practices.
    • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and advice on conflict resolution and employee discipline.
    • Provide guidance and advice to the Senior Associates on HR policies and procedures and to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, especially regarding employee relations, grievance and disciplinary procedures.
    • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support employee engagement, retention, and development.

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, added advantage.
    • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a large Firm.
    • Preferred certification in SHPRi, and CIPM.
    • Use of PowerBI in analysing data.
    • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives that support business objectives.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills, and ability to use HR metrics and data to drive decision-making.
    • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders and influence decision-making

    Business Development Manager

    Job Overview:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the Firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and enhancing our market presence.
    • This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the legal industry and a proven track record in business development.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

    • In conjunction with the Partners and the COO, set annual business development goals for the Practice and develop strategies to meet those goals.
    • In conjunction with the Partners and Senior Associates, develop and deepen sustainable relationships with the Firm's stakeholders and clients, to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
    • In conjunction with the Practice Leads and the Brand Manager, assist in ensuring that the marketing and business development goals of each Firm event, whether sponsored or organised in collaboration with a third-party organization, are well executed.
    • Prepare annual budgets with the Partners, Senior Associates and the Finance Team to meet the objectives of each Practice and the Firm.
    • Assist in the preparation of templates and capability statements for bidding/tendering for new business opportunities.
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and business opportunities and provide insight into product development and competitive positioning.
    • Conduct and analyze client satisfaction survey data and present reports and recommendations to the Partners.
    • Ensure that all clients are properly onboarded on to the Firm’s CRM Portal, with engagement letters and KYCs.
    • Strategically position the Firm on international legal directories for recognition by submitting relevant transaction documentaries in the prescribed format on agreed directories.
    • Monitor and report on the Firm’s business development activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Meeting with potential clients to present and negotiate business deals.
    • Develop new business leads, quotes and proposals for prospective clients.

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the legal or professional services industry.
    • Strong understanding of the legal industry and market dynamics.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI and CRM software.

    In-House Graphic Designer

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    • We are seeking a research and creative Graphic Designer to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the visual elements of the DOA brand, including designing proposals, articles and newsletters, social media content, video editing, and creating a consistent and engaging brand identity.
    • This role requires a strategic creative with a deep understanding of the legal industry and a proven track record in graphic designing.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • In conjunction with the marketing and business development team, develop creative concepts and designs to ensure all visual content aligns with DOA's brand values and strategies.
    • Develop and maintain the visual elements of the DOA brand.
    • Create and enforce design guidelines, including dos and don'ts for brand consistency.
    • Design proposals, brochures, turn documents into engaging PDFs, and other marketing materials.
    • Create engaging social media graphics, infographics, and video content.
    • Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms.
    • Design modern and user-friendly graphics for the company’s website.
    • Create intro and outro cards for videos, as well as video thumbnails and Twitter cards.
    • Design sales collateral, including decks, one-pagers, and sales presentations.
    • Design print materials for events, including banners, flyers, and posters.
    • Participate in strategy meetings to ensure design efforts align with overall content and marketing strategies.
    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.
    • Ensure all designs meet the highest quality standards and align with DOA’s brand guidelines.
    • Regularly review and update design elements to stay current with industry trends.

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual Arts, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing modern aesthetic designs.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro,After Effects) and other design tools.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
    • Excellent visual and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Experience in video editing and production.
