    Reservoir Engineer

    Description:

    • Provides support within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure adequate reservoir management of the company’s assets.
    • Handle activities to optimize producing assets from a reservoir perspective leading to improved recovery, increase production and reserves addition.
    • Develop reservoir performance prediction and prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volume.
    • Review surveillance, analysis, dynamic models and provide direction on subsurface engineering required for proper reservoir management of assets.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant Engineering Degree. A master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Reservoir Engineering and Engineering Operations in the oil industry with an operator.
    • Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
    • Excellent carriage and representation of company with regulatory and government agencies.
    • Must be able to contribute to technical knowledge in form of technical paper presentations at conferences.
    • Ability to support/update company-wide standard reservoir management practices.

    QAQC Supervisor

     

    Description:

    • Perform Pre-Job and Pre-Mobilization Inspections.
    • Ensure the quality of products, consumables and materials comply with requirements of established Procedures.
    • Gather and properly document all data inputs related quality compliance reporting and tracking.
    • Systematically inspect Contractors workshops and construction sites and report / advise any problems, concerns regarding quality and welding activities.
    • Ensure quality of products / consumables / materials comply with requirements of established Standards & Specifications.
    • Ensure discovered non-conformances (NCRs) are identified, tracked, and closed out prior to acceptance of the work requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Science or Engineering.
    • Possess minimum 5 years active experience in Oil and Gas QAQC activities for Drilling and Completion, Intervention, Production and facilities.
    • Demonstrate background and thorough knowledge to codes such as ANSI, B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 1104.
    • Familiar with NDT methods, visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiography, vacuum box testing.
    • ASNT/PCN level II RT, UT, MT, PT, RFI (Radiographic Film Interpretation) certification can be an advantage.
    • Familiar with welding processes, AWS – CWI or CSWIP 3.1 – Level 2 Certified welding inspector certification can be an advantage.
    • IWCF certification is not required but can be an advantage.
    • Experience in multiple operational environments -Land and Swamp, Shallow water and offshore is and added advantage Willing to travel and spend >50% of the time in the field locations.

    Cost and Planning Engineer

    Description:

    • Develop and maintain a cost control reporting system to detail actual and forecast costs on the projects/ improvement initiatives based on the inputs from team members. Communicate cost progress, highlight concerns and issues to team.
    • Review suppliers and construction contractor’s bids during tender assessment and provide relevant tender clarification information to enable commitments to be made for current and future projects.
    • Integrate suppliers and construction contractor’s control system and cost-schedule dependencies and feed into the overall budget and monitor their progress on a regular basis.
    • Maintain cost control procedures, including change order/variation order registers, and coordinate project procedures, methods, and norms.
    • Prepare and maintain resource plans and budget, cost forecasting/phasing and Earned Value for projects.
    • Establish process to collect actual cost performance, condition and normalize data for future use, develop metrics and benchmarking information.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Degree and/or Certification as a Cost Estimator.
    • 8 years’ experience in a lead cost estimator role, both the front-end and definitions or execution phases of an opportunity or project/ have been responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and delivery of the cost estimating activity of the project.
    • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Fully Vast with cost estimating Tools.

    Contract Engineer

    Description:

    • Execute vendor prequalification, develop, and maintain a database of prequalified vendors for related goods and/or services.
    • Collate and compilation of all tender documentation after receipt of approval Prepare and undertake tender commercial evaluations post receipt of tenders, draft and coordinate formal award recommendations and present to senior management.
    • Prepare and coordinate all invitation to Bid exercises in line with Company’s contract terms and conditions.
    • Maintain and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure cost effective contractual terms.
    • Draft appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions using Company’s approved template to best serve and protect Company’s interests.

    Requirements:

    • Possess 8 -10 years of proven experience in contract management with relevant oil and gas industry experience.
    • Possess professional qualification in Procurement, Surveying or other relevant profession.
    • Relevant engineering/technical/ legal qualification is an added advantage.
    • Possess competency with contract preparation, negotiation, tendering and award procedures.
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
    • High level of computer literacy with experience using specialist procurement software and computer system.
    • Ability to engage with people and work in diverse team.

    Financial Reporting & Tax Manager

    Description:

    • Perform month-end close activities which includes but not limited to: GL reconciliation/clean up, subledger module closure for all entities, run month–end accrual process and post into GL.
    • Prepare and submit monthly accounts, TB, and relevant schedules to Management & Business Performance Management unit.
    • Conduct variance analysis and periodic business performance monitoring on all assests.
    • Prepare annual Financial Statements for all the upstream companies.
    • Provide Internal and External Auditors with all necessary information to facilitate prompt closure of audit.
    • Supervise monthly tax returns filing and remittance.

    Requirements:

    • A chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with Accounting, Audit & Financial Reporting (Major in Finance/Accounting) background.
    • At least 7 years of oil & gas upstream experience with an upstream Oil and Gas Company or reputable audit firm.
    • Previous industry knowledge with minimum of four years’ experience in Financial Reporting with detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and oil and gas upstream, Oil and Gas Upstream Tax Laws.
    • Good working knowledge of ORACLE Accounting Systems, Sun Systems and MS Office programs especially Excel and PowerPoint is required.
