    ICT Manager

    Description

    The ICT Manager must be an individual with detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and possesses a professional track record of effective technical management in Schools including information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.

    He contributes to the success of the school by delivering a first-class service in overseeing and ensuring that the school IT Infrastructure and systems are operating effectively and efficiently

    Main Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
    • Manage the software implementation on relevant devices.
    • Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
    • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
    • Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
    • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
    • Generating performance reports for operating systems.
    • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
    • Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
    • Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction of the school community.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services in Schools, at least 5 years.
    • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
    • Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
    • Management and leadership skills.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Flexible working hours.
    • Ability to manage work Pressure

    Resident School Nurse

    Description

    The Resident School Nurse is in charge of providing timely care and medical services to students and staff. The person has the responsibility of organizing talks, programs and other initiatives to keep the health and safety awareness alive within the school community.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Care

    • Cooperate with the school management, members of the staff, parents and other health professionals to ensure a healthy school climate and to minimize absence due to illness.
    • Provide emergency care in case of sudden illness and administers first-aid in case of injury to students or staff according to established policies and procedures.
    • Help prevent and control communicable disease through lectures, inspections, exclusion and re-admission of students and staff in keeping with state and local health regulations and school policies.
    • Maintains up-to-date health records on all students.
    • Report suspicious behaviors of students or staff influenced by alcohol or harmful substances to the principal for immediate examination.
    • Administers prescribed medication to students in accordance with the school policy.
    • Assists the principal with the preparation of the school's health budget.
    • Assists in the development of policies and procedures for comprehensive health education and services.
    • Prepare and submit weekly reports on the bay activities to the Principal.

    Health & Safety Responsibilities:

    • Promote healthy/safe school environment by assisting the administration and staff to maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the school. Reports problems promptly to the principal.
    • Confer with and advises students, parents, and staff members on matters pertaining to the health and safety of students.
    • Ensure the meals prepared by the kitchen are healthy and well-balanced diets through tasting, observations and advise where necessary.
    • Prepare health and safety reports as required by law and/or requested by the principal.
    • Coordinate creation and implementation of Emergency Action Plan and disaster preparedness Plans.

    Requirements

    • Must possess B.Sc. Nursing qualification.

    Head of Administration

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • HND/ B.Sc. Mechanical/Structural/Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
    • Proven experience in facility management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
    • Proven work experience as Head of Administration in a reputable secondary School.
    • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance protocols.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
    • Proficiency in budget management, vendor negotiations, and contract administration and event planning.
    • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and codes pertaining to facility management.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing facility-related challenges.
    • Solid knowledge of office procedures
    • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
    • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail
