    Workplace & Facilities Administrator

    About You and the Role  

    • The Workplace & Facilities Administrator plays an essential role in keeping our distribution center operations well coordinated and running seamlessly. Without you and the work you put in to achieve results, our teams will not be successful.
    • This position will be based in Cross River State.

    What You'll Do

    • Plan and execute operational tasks: Be the most vibrant planner and executor of key activities that keeps operations running smoothly; transport and movements, housing, maintenance and many more. This would require you to be a very good communicator, highly flexible and be a supportive team player as there is high engagement with multiple stakeholders.
    • Plan and execute administrative tasks: You would be responsible for preparing communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other in country correspondence. You will also be responsible for scheduling staff and other meetings; as well as scheduling appointments where necessary. Where required you would also be responsible for collating and distributing mails and action item tasks from staff and other meetings
    • Ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained: You'll be responsible for reporting, tracking and supervising corrective and preventive maintenance actions on distribution center facilities and equipment (vehicles, generators, etc.). You are expected to close these actions out and properly document them.
    • Coordinate and support visitors: You’ll be the point of contact for all visitors to and from the center. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a seamless and world-class hospitality experience for all visitors coming to the center.
    • Coordinate and organize Stakeholder Meetings: You would be responsible for working with country and global level leadership to coordinate and organize stakeholder meetings
    • Documentation Management: You will be responsible for ensuring that correspondence between stakeholders and country leaderships are submitted promptly and archived appropriately. You will be required to write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
    • Manage vendors: You’ll be responsible for sourcing, on-boarding and managing vendors (food, sundries suppliers, service providers and contractors) and expected to make input into the processing of their payments.
    • Supervise facilities support teams and contractors: You’ll be responsible for ensuring a high quality work output of the facilities support teams such as janitors and drivers.

    What You'll Bring

    • A Diploma / HND / Tertiary Certificate
    • Prior experience in facilities management and administration (maintenance planning and scheduling, team management and leadership)
    • Strong data gathering and analytics and reporting skills. Able to work with computing systems (G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
    • Licensed Driver who is able to drive a manual vehicle

    Flight Operator

    About You and the Role   

    • As a member of Zipline’s Flight Operations team in Kaduna, Nigeria, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the delivery of medical products to health facilities is done in a safe and timely manner. This will involve working with a team of flight operators to conduct regular pre-flight inspections, launching, and recovery of the drones (aircraft).
    • You’ll be trained to conduct regular maintenance of the drones and other equipment at our site to support ongoing operations.
    • You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our daily operations and processes to support the growth of our operations as we scale.
    • This role will be based close to Pambegua, Kaduna.

    What You'll Do

    • Launch and Recovery: You will be responsible for the safe assembly of drones in preparation for 150+ flights, perform critical checks, communicate with Zipline controllers in readiness for flight, launch and disassemble drones on return to the Distribution Center.
    • Maintenance of drones and ground equipment: You will be responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance: scheduled or unscheduled on Zipline’s Aircraft and Ground Equipment. The maintenance includes but is not limited to Aircraft body maintenance, aircraft wing maintenance, etc.
    • Troubleshooting: You will be required to follow troubleshooting guidelines for the drones and ground equipment and collaborate with locally-based and USA based engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize issues.
    • Projects: You may be involved in short-term and long-term projects that involve collaboration across functional teams in efforts to scale drone deliveries to 150+ and improve operational efficiency.

    What You'll Bring

    • National Diploma or HND / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Aerospace Engineering
    • You enjoy working in the field and are not afraid to get your hands dirty
    • Ability to stay focused, humble, and safety-conscious during 12 hour shifts
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy work that keeps you on your feet
    • Ability to maintain focus during extended daily flight operations
    • Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with complex, battery-operated machinery
    • Extremely process & detail-oriented
    • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English
    • Must be eligible to work in Nigeria

    What else you need to know:

    • Must be willing and able to work night/weekends on shifts
    • Must be willing and able to work for a period of more than 45 hours/week
    • This is a full-time position based at one of our distribution centers in Kaduna, Nigeria
    • Must be willing to relocate to any of our distribution centers in Kaduna, Nigeria

    Fulfillment Operations Professional

    Location: Kaduna, Nigeria

    About You and the Role  

    • As a member of Zipline’s Fulfillment Operations Team in Nigeria, you’ll be responsible for building a strong supply chain of health commodities to enable health facilities to provide the best services to their patients.     • Best Practices & Safety Management: Work with a team to perform daily quality control, oversee safety and regulations at the Zipline distribution center.

    What You'll Bring

    • Essential: National Diploma or HND / Bachelor’s in Science courses preferably in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Science, Life Science.
    • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English
    • Full fluency in Hausa
    • 1+ years of practical experience in a laboratory setting, manufacturing plant, hospital or clinic
    • Passionate about making sure that each component of our supply chain and order processing is handled perfectly
    • Proactive with excellent organization and attention to detail
    • Obsessed with customer experience and making sure the quality of our deliveries always exceeds expectations
    • Upbeat and positive attitude, a collaborator who wants to succeed while also helping teammates grow
