    Group Head, Institutional Asset Management

    Job Summary

    • The Group Head, Institutional Asset Management, is responsible for leading and overseeing the institutional asset management department developing and executing strategies to manage and grow institutional investment portfolios.
    • This role involves providing strategic direction, managing client relationships, and ensuring the department meets its performance objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in institutional asset management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional investment performance and client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities  

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement the strategic vision and direction for the institutional asset management department.
    • Set and achieve long-term goals for the department in alignment with the overall company strategy.
    • Lead the development and execution of investment strategies to maximize portfolio performance.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing exceptional service and support.
    • Understand clients’ investment objectives and risk tolerance and develop customized investment solutions.
    • Address client concerns and ensure their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

    Portfolio Management:

    • Oversee the management of institutional investment portfolios, ensuring they meet performance objectives.
    • Monitor portfolio performance and make strategic adjustments as needed to optimize returns.
    • Ensure compliance with investment policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

    Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the department’s client base.
    • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new institutional clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.

    Team Leadership and Development: 

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the institutional asset management team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure adequate training and development opportunities for team members.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

    Financial Management:

    • Oversee the financial performance of the department, ensuring profitability and growth.
    • Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in institutional asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing institutional investment portfolios and delivering exceptional performance.
    • Strong understanding of investment strategies and financial markets.
    • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent strategic planning and business development abilities.

    Head of Programmes

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Programs and Partnerships will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and operational achievements of the consulting firm. This role requires a seasoned leader with a track record of delivering outstanding results, cultivating client relationships, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. As a key member of the firm's leadership team, the Head of Programs will be tasked with defining the organization's overarching vision, strategy, and operational efficiency.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for originating projects, managing projects budgets, supervising team members and managing stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all consulting programs and initiatives.

    Thought Leadership:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

    • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster industry connections

    Requirements

    • A graduate degree in food technology, nutrition, agriculture, development, public health, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience within the non-profit sector, philanthropy, donor projects, and international development programs, including at least 2 years at director-level.
    • Demonstrated experience in originating and managing end-to-end donor or international development projects in the food, health, and agriculture sector.
    • Management consulting and critical thinking skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills for analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations to clients.
    • Strong project management skills, adept at utilizing technology in project management processes.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, must be proficient in presentation and public speaking.
    • Proven track record of business generation and driving revenue growth. Must be capable of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and developing compelling proposals to expand the firm's market presence

    IT Officer

    Summary Objective:

    • Ensure the organization maintains a robust and secure Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, facilitating operational efficiency to satisfy its members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Network Management: Oversee installation, maintenance, and management of the computer network to ensure consistent       availability and efficiency.
    • Database Management: Develop and manage database systems to ensure data integrity and security.
    • IT Infrastructure: Ensure the IT infrastructure supports the organisation's operations, including disaster recovery and business         continuity plans.

    • are advantageous.
