    Responsibilities

    Production Manager

    Job Description

    • Manage all aspects of formulation/manufacturing area, utilizing people, equipment and materials to meet or exceed the production plan as efficiently as possible, with minimal wastage of resources
    • Supervise, train and develop staff to create a cohesive and highly skilled team through effective training, mentoring, coaching, performance management and communication
    • Ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with GMP, company policies & procedures, OHS and SOP's
    • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
    • Estimate costs and prepare budgets
    • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
    • Monitor production to resolve issues
    • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
    • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)

    • Enforce health and safety precautions
    • Report to upper management.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / B.Engr. in Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field is preferred
    • 5-7 years experience as a production manager in a Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical.
    • Must demonstrate knowledge of production management, GMP principles and OH&S requirements
    • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
    • Possess high attention to detail
    • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships right across the business
    • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
    • Experience in reporting on key production metrics

    Technical Sales Manager - Offshore Coating

    Job Responsibilities

    • Development of sales strategy/policy, processes and procedure.
    • Monitor various projects progress, identify new project opportunities and share regular update.
    • Manage the day to day operations of sales region providing guidance, encouraging team work and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
    • Make regular customer visit for sales development and facilitate customers for various projects and probabilities to boost sales.
    • Deal with customer grievances and follow-up with technical team for resolution and various customer trials analysis and support.
    • Coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interaction and transaction.

    • Prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards

    Requirements

    • BE/B.Tech - Paint or Chemicals, Industrial Chemistry or Petroleum Engineering and PG Qualification will be preferred but not mandatory.
    • 5 years+ experience in selling paints & providing Technical service to the customers in the Oil & Gas industry focused around International / Indigenous Oil companies. Good knowledge about the various coatings their specifications, application etc.
    • Vast experience with B2B Marketing and must have exposure in leading a team.
    • A good spoken and written English skill is a must. Working knowledge of French would be an added advantage.
    • Must be willing to travel around Nigeria/West Africa.
    • Experience in the development of Marine/ High Performance Coatings for this sector will be an additional advantage.
