    Protection Assistants

    Requirements

    • Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Law or a relevant equivalent.
    • At least 2-3 years of working experience in a social service, psychology, education, or development sector; Previous working experience with humanitarian agencies will be considered as a strong advantage;
    • Good understanding of international human rights and principles of humanitarian work.
    • Good facilitation skills; experience designing and delivering training curricula, preferably focused on adult learning;
    • Ability and willingness to maintain regular presence at project sites and to work during irregular working hours and in insecure environments.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and resilience.
    • Good computer skills (Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint and Outlook).
    • Fluency in English and Hausa.

    General Requirements:

    • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, proactive and able to accomplish set deadlines.
    • Willing to meet short deadlines with minimum supervision.
    • Willing to travel within DRC offices within Nigeria.
    • Excellent knowledge in English, reading and writing and local languages.

    Finance Officer & Finance Assistant

    Requirements

    • University degree in Accounting/Commerce.
    • At least Two year work experience in field of finance/accounting/book keeping in (I)NGO/commercial sector.
    • Experience in managing daily ledgers, bank reconciliations, handling supplier payments, documentation, scanning of documents, budget follow up, forecast, prepare monthly financial/expenditure reports etc.,
    • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must.
    • Working experience in MS Office 2013 and excellent knowledge in Excel.

    Human Resource Officer

    Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Business administration/HR or Higher Diploma from Government Technical College in HR/Administration with 3-4-year experience in field of HR/Administration in (I)NGO/commercial sector.
    • Experience in preparing employment contracts, maintain personal files, manage recruitments, leave records, manage office administrations etc.,
    • Knowledge of Nigerian Labor, tax requirements.
    • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must.
    • Working experience in MS Office 2013.
    • Hands-on experience/skills in MS Excel (experience in working with formulas), Power Point, Word and Outlook.
