    IT Officer (NYSC)

    Report To: Human Resources

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

    • Set up and manage emails as well as accounts back-ups and signature for end users.
    • Manage information technology and computer systems and electronic data operations.
    • Develop and manage the company web site and set up network servers.
    • Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users.
    • Implement cyber-security procedures to safeguard the website by ensuring.
    • Activate and monitor intrusion prevention mechanisms.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve all network and computer related issues.
    • Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems.
    • Integrate and configure computer networking for best performance.
    • Upgrade systems with new models and software.
    • Schedule, setup and manage virtual events.
    • Liaises with IT vendors and service providers to the organizations for quality service delivery to staff and stakeholders.
    • Conduct periodic system servicing and maintenance.
    • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
    • Identify security gaps and provide relevant solutions in consultation with the Operations manager.
    • Develop and manage budget of the IT department.
    • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
    • Enhance office IT system through appropriate upgrades and advise operations unit on changes or improvements required.
    • Help install and maintain all IT equipment and infrastructure for effective service delivery.
    • Liaise with other departments for timely resolution of IT related issues.  
    • Carry out other tasks that are related to the job function as assigned.

    Requirement

    • B.Sc. in BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
    • M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a system administrator/IT specialist.
    • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and web development.

    Required Competencies:

    • Sound technical knowledge about IT, security of systems and current trends and developments in information technology.
    • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
    •  Knowledge of systems engineering, computer maintenance, server administration, installation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
    • Excellent attention to details and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different personalities.
    • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    Driver

    Department: Administrative Department

    Report To: Administrative Officer

    Salary: N50,000

    Slot: 1

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

    • Dress professionally and in accordance with company’s dress code.
    • Transport products, materials, and staff securely to areas where they are needed.
    • Ensure that vehicle is kept clean at all times by washing both the inside and outside parts of the vehicle
    • Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by supervisor.
    • Report any instance of mishap or accident to supervisor.
    • Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refuelling the car(s).
    • Report any case of accident, injury, or damage of vehicles to the supervisor.
    • Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance

    Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.

    Requirement

    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience as a Driver
    • At least OND or its equivalent qualification.

    Required Competencies:

    • Proven experience as a Driver.
    •  A valid driver’s license.
    • A clean driving records.
    •  Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
    • Familiarity with GPS devices.
    • Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts.
    • A polite and professional disposition
    •  Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
    • Good communication skill.

    Head Teacher

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • School aims: Formulating the overall aims and objectives of the school and policies for their implementation
    • Strategic direction and development of the school: Leading by example, providing educational vision and direction to secure the strong and passionate commitment of staff, parents/carers and pupils.
    • Deploying and managing all teaching and non-teaching staff of the school and allocating particular duties to them (including such duties of the head teacher as may be properly delegated to a deputy head teacher, assistant head teacher or other member of staff) in a manner consistent with their conditions of employment, maintaining a reasonable balance for each teacher between work carried out in school and work carried out elsewhere
    • Considering in particular in relation to such allocation of duties how far the duties of the head teacher may be delegated to any deputy head teacher or assistant head teacher
    • Ensuring that the duty of providing cover for absent teachers is shared equitably among all teachers in the school (including the head teacher), taking account of their teaching and other duties
    • Ensuring that teachers at the school receive information they need to carry out their professional duties effectively,
    • Ensuring that staff are aware of current educational developments and are kept up to date through an ongoing programme of continuous professional development
    • Leading, motivating, supporting, challenging and developing staff at all levels in order to secure and sustain continuous improvement and staff well-being and to be committed to personal continuing professional development
    • Supporting middle and senior leadership of the school to build capacity, recognize existing talents and encourage delegation
    • Challenging underperformance at all levels and putting in place effective procedures to deal with underperforming staff
    • Providing information, references and testimonials about the work and performance of staff employed at the school, with due regard to the principles of equal opportunities, where such information is relevant to their future employment.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have atleast 5 years experience as a head teacher
    • Must have a Degree in Education or Administration.
    • Must have teaching experience
