Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND or Master's Degree in relevant fields with 15 - 20 years work experience.
• The environmental scientist must be trained and experienced in use of JNCC guidelines, and qualified to observe and report on the activity of cetaceans and endangered species in the seismic survey area.
• The personnel must have experience in marine mammal observations on marine seismic crew.

Responsibilities

• The Geophysical Project SHE QC personnel will monitor and advise on Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Security matters associated with the Project
• The personnel must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in geophysical operations in a SHE Representative role with at least 3 years on marine seismic (OBN or streamer) crews.
• The SHE representative must have at least 10 years’ experience in offshore operations and training in SHE management.
