    Cashier

    Responsibilities

    • Greet customers warmly and provide assistanceas needed.
    • Answer customer questions and address concerns with professionalism.
    • Handle customer complaints or escalate to the supervisor if necessary.
    • Operate the cash register and process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
    • Scan items, and handle various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards.
    • Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to store policies.
    • Ensure the cash register is balanced and accurate at the start and end of the day.
    • Manage cash drawers, including making change and handling cash securely.
    • Reconcile receipts and cash at the end of the day and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
    • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and supplies.
    • Assist with bagging groceries and helping customers with their purchases as needed.
    • Perform basic inventory checks and report low stock or damaged items to management.
    • Follow store policies and procedures for transactions, safety, and security.
    • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.

    Qualifications

    • OND in Accounting is preferred.
    • Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
    • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Capable of performing repetitive tasks and maintaining attention to detail.

    Sales Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, referrals, email marketing).
    • Qualify leads and determine their potential value to the company.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven sales experience in the procurement or related industry.
    • Strong understanding of the procurement process and challenges faced by clients.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Proficient in sales CRM software and other relevant tools.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
