    Credit Control Officer

    Job Description

    • To ensure consistent operational cash inflow into the business by regular billing of customers and receivable management in strict compliance with credit policy.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure money collectable from sales and takings are received in collection accounts and are fully reconciled to bank in order to block all cash leakages and loss of fund which may result in shareholders’ fund depletion.
    • Ensure WHT receipts are collected, properly accounted for and allocated in accordance with the company’s credit
    • policy.
    • Follow up on receivable in accordance to the credit policy, collect and allocate payments.
    • Ensure timely reconciliation whenever there is disparity between customer’s payment and invoices.
    • Ensure the receivable aging complies with the company credit policy.
    • Weekly submission of Follow up Reports and monthly submission of Credit policy compliance report.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2.2 / Upper Credit B.Sc / HND Degree in Accounting or any related course.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in related field.
    • Proficient use of basic data analytics software, e.g. Excel, Word.
    • Ability to optimize work processes.
    • Knowledge of accounts receivables.
    • Knowledge of general accounting principles.

    Business Analyst

    Job Description

    • The purpose of this job is for the Business Analyst to find ways to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, identify and implement solutions, meet project deadlines and accurately document the necessary requirements.
    • The Business Analyst would continuously deliver value to the Divisions and Departments along the lines of strategy execution, operational efficiency and Business Continuity.
    • The role will gather and document business requirements, assist in streamlining processes, research various solutions and work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams to document and implement the solution.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Participate in requirements definition sessions with stakeholders to capture business requirements
    • Utilize all available tools and information sources to elicit requirements, including interviews/meetings, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis
    • Evaluate and create business requirements document in sufficient detail to support solution development and or system implementation.
    • Develops mockups to test out ideas, then iterates them based on user feedback. Create use cases and other artifacts such as user stories.
    • Document ‘as –is’ processes and ‘to-be’ process, applying the knowledge of business process modelling notations to process documentations.
    • Lead process discovery, re-engineering, improvement and analysis sessions to identify activities or tasks that are
    • repeatable, inefficient and recommend improvements.
    • Review process data to determine/ensure that the output of the process are achieving the desired results.

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information System, Business Management & Other Related courses (2.2/ Upper Credit Minimum)
    • Post Graduate degree (MBA, M.Sc., etc.) an added advantage
    • Professional Qualification (ECBA, CCBA, CBPP) an added advantage
    • 2-4 years’ experience as a Business
    • Analyst/Business Process Analyst
    • Understanding of workflows, processes, and their representation using standard modelling techniques.
    • Experience translating business requirements into actionable user stories for development teams
    • Strong analytical skills, ability to abstract & systematic approach to problem solving.

    OSP Planning and Design Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct Site surveys for study and planning of new FTTH deployment.
    • Prepare Low Level Design of Civil and Fiber Infrastructure for Optical Distribution Network (ODN) deployment to cover future demands.
    • FTTH Optical Distribution Network (ODN) planning, Cost estimation, Route Selection, fiber Management and Fiber Link Power Budgeting.
    • Prepare detailed FTTH design drawings including duct layouts and cabling layouts.
    • Preparation of BoM for FTTH OSP projects.
    • Preparation of High Level project scope description.
    • Preparation of fiber cabling plan and splice plans for FTTH projects.
    • Pre-project discussions and co-ordination with FTTH roll-out team and OSP vendors.
    • Joint site walk-throughs with OSP Supervisor and contractor after kickoff meetings.
    • Conduct joint surveys with project team to resolve variation and change in scope issues.
    • Accuracy of OSP design (measured by level of modification by Team lead required on the design before final submission to Head, Network Services Business Unit).
    • Accuracy of Bill of Materials within tolerance limits.
    • The percentage of time site surveys are done within schedule without unnecessary re-visits.

    Requirements

    • HND in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Information Systems. However, field experience for Non- science or engineering backgrounds can be considered.
    • Experience using CAD (Autocad, Visio) and Microsoft office software.
    • Excellent communication skill.
    • Analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Prioritizing work.
    • Generating & maintaining accurate records.
    • Outside Plant Fibre experience – site surveys, fibre laying, splicing, termination, troubleshooting.
    • Ability to use fibre tools e.g optical power metre, light source and OTDR.
