    Personal Assitant to CEO

    Location: Jabi, Abuja

    Job Summary

    • Provide full administrative and secretarial support at a senior level to a top executive in the hospital.
    • Ensure proper management of the day to day affairs of the executive. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner; also take initiative as appropriate.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the executive's electronic diary, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary.
    • Manage the executive's travel arrangements.
    • Process executive's correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondence is dealt with by the executive or other staff as appropriate.
    • Maintain the executive's office systems, including data management and filing
    • Maintain records of the executive's contacts
    • Screen calls, enquiries and requests, and deal with them when appropriate
    • Assist executive in researching and following up with action on matters which fall within the executive's responsibility - chasing responses, triggering follow-up action.
    • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the executive
    • Organize meetings and ensure that the executive is well prepared for those meetings
    • Preparing agendas and minutes of meetings. Make arrangements for top management meetings.
    • Meet and greet visitors at all levels
    • Supervise all incoming/outgoing mail.
    • Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Executive.

    Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

    • BSc / HND in any Science related field with a minimum of 4 years post NYSC experience in executive support to management.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external
    • Ability to organize and plan work schedule
    • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
    • A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
    • Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality
    • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Internet surfing skills

    Expected Salary

    • N100, 000.00 monthly.

    Head, Internal Audit

    Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop the internal audit program for the Hospital
    • Review the internal control and accounting systems for efficiency
    • Provide independent assurance on the Hospital's risk management, internal control processes of the Law, Management Rules/Regulations and circulars.
    • Ensure safeguard of assets, prevention and detection of errors, irregularities, promoting the accuracy and reliability of accounting records.
    • Provide mentorship and on the job training for other staff of the Audit Department so as to improve capacity to carry on their assignments.
    • Plan and execute periodic/annual stock taking exercise and report findings to Management.
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop Audit plan.
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, data and reports.
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk prevention and cost saving measures.
    • Provision of advisory services to Management on the Hospital's operations, report finding and make recommendation for improvement.
    • Ensure that assets are effectively and efficiently utilized.
    • Undertake business review and intelligence to ensure profitability of business undertakings and units.
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor Management's interventions.
    • Any other assignments that may be given by Management.

    Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

    • Candidates for this position must possess a BSc / HND in Accounting or Economics or Business Administration from any recognized University.
    • He / She must be a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years post ICAN qualification working experience.
    • Prior working experience in a reputable Chartered Accounting Firm and in the health care sector will be an added advantage.

    Expected Salary
    N500, 000.00 / month.

    Head, Laboratory

    Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsiblefor all aspects of the laboratory including equipment, employees, processes and documentation.
    • Develops operating budget, department goals, objectives, operational policies, and procedures to meet current and future needs of the Laboratory.
    • Responsible for monitoring the adherence to departmental policies and procedures in the laboratories across all benches.
    • Serves as a point person for clinicians and other health care workers to answer technical and clerical questions related to testing.
    • Planning and executing approved activities of the laboratory as well as submitting routine reports to management.
    • Training, supervising and assessment of the laboratory scientists, technicians, and assistants as well as maintaining staff discipline. Ensure employees are trained according to department procedures and maintain required recurring training. Ensure all laboratory personnel adhere to the safe work practices and standards.
    • Establishing policies and procedures for work place by ensuring maintenance of technical and safety standards and adjusting them when necessary.
    • Overseeing maintenance of the laboratory equipment by organizing their calibrations, repairs or replacement, timely ordering of consumables and conducting periodical assessments. Ensure safe handling of equipment and apparatus. Updating knowledge in trends laboratory technology. Ensuring quality control by standardization of reagents and kits.
    • Possession of up to date knowledge of requirements of the relevant regulatory agencies and adhering to them. Compliance with the statutory requirement and ensure the use of standard test procedures for accuracy.
    • Initiate, supervise and manage quality control and assurance processes across the laboratory.
    • Ensure proper housekeeping in the laboratory work area
    • Drive reduction in turnaround time without compromising test quality. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all laboratory testing, analysis and results.
    • Identify problems and develop solutions to continually improve operations. Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
    • Performs other related administrative duties as deemed necessary by the management. Reports to the Medical Director.

    Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

    • A B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Science. A Postgraduate Degree would be an added advantage.
    • A registered member of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
    • Possess a current practicing license.
    • Minimum of 9 years post NYSC work experience and 5 years in similar role.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel etc.) and Health Information Management System.
    • Experienced in managing a Clinical Laboratory.
    • Knowledge of laboratory techniques; testing and calibrating procedures; handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment and quality Control.
    • Strong leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Expected Salary

    • N400,000 monthly.
