    Senior Warehouse Officer

    Job Reference: WM2023024

    Job Responsibilities

    • Overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities and ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.
    • Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.
    • Keep track of slow-moving stock, obsolete products, damaged products and near-date products
    • Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
    • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
    • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
    • Support logistics and cater for delivery of goods within the speculated delivery
    • Promoting the 5s rule and ensure FEFO is followed
    • Directing store operations including retail operations, customer service, managing employees, property management, security management and control, administration and sales.
    • Developing business strategies to raise our customers pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
    • Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
    • Completing store administration and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
    • Developing financial objectives and business plans. Meet goals and metrics.
    • Bringing out the best of branch’s personnel through training, coaching, development and motivation.
    • Ensuring adherence to set standards, Procedures and policies.
    • Monitoring inventory levels and order new items.
    • Addressing customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
    • Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
    • Responsible for maintaining an acceptable gross profit, proper inventory management and reporting of store activities.
    • Carrying out other tasks as required periodically

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
    • Minimum of 8 years work experience as a logistics & warehouse professional preferably in Frozen Foods/FMCG
    • Demonstrated organizational or managerial skills.
    • Post graduate diploma / Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration from reputable institutions would be an added advantage.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
    • Direct and coordinate operations with strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Knowledge of warehouse software packages is an added advantage

    Hatchery Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in receiving and preparing eggs for incubation; incubating eggs; grading, preparing, and shipping chicks in poultry hatchery:
    • Assigning workers to duties, such as egg candling, sorting and traying, incubating eggs, and grading and debeaking chicks.
    • Monitoring the temperature and humidity inside cold room and egg sorting room and record them very well.
    • Ensuring adequate sanitary of the internal and external environment of the Setter room by cleaning and disinfecting of the setter room daily.
    • Periodically inspecting eggs in incubator trays to ascertain hatching progress, and ordering removal of chicks.
    • Observing packing of chicks to verify adherence to customer's orders and shipping instructions.
    • Confers with hatchery manager to discuss equipment and supply needs, production and research requirements, and work schedules.
    • Preparing production reports, and requisitions equipment, materials, and supplies.
    • Carries out other duties that may be assigned to you by the manager from time to time.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Animal Sciences or related disciplines from a recognized University
    • Candidate should have a minimum 5 years of experience in hatchery operation, hatching of pullets, hatching of broilers, breeders.
    • Candidate with experience in maintenance of hatchery equipment will be preferred.
    • Candidate should be willing to work in the night shift.

    Inventory Controller (FMCG)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitoring inventory levels, Near to Expiry, Expiry, and Spoilage.
    • Approve transfers between warehouses and ensure it is closed with the correct quantities received.
    • Track any difference in the transfers to find out the mistake and solve it.
    • Track returns and ensure that it is posted to system on time.
    • Ensuring the return of stock on ground is applied in the system
    • Ensure all pending Deliveries are cleared
    • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
    • Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
    • Ensure and Monitoring a proper inventory count and sample based testing.
    • Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
    • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
    • Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, receiving and delivering, and inventory records.
    • Carrying out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in Accounting or any relevant discipline from a reputable institution
    • 5-8 years' experience in inventory management with manufacturing companies
    • SAP "ERP" knowledge is a MUST.
    • Working knowledge of excel, Microsoft word for reporting is a MUST,
    • Having good background in accounting
    • Residing or ready to relocate to Ibadan.
