    Team Lead, Strategy

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Establish an organisation-wide system that monitors and measures the implementation of the strategic business growth plans
    • Develop the entity’s strategic direction and objectives into plans, programs, and initiatives, and ensure the achievement of set targets.
    • Promote organisation-wide strategic planning and strategic implementation
    • Develop strategies, validating and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases
    • Create and continuously improve the performance management framework and appraisal methodology
    • Conduct periodic review, analysis and reporting of the company’s performance on its strategic plan
    • Oversee frequent research and analysis of macro, industry, and competitive trends across the globe to distil key strategic learnings for internal growth and development
    • Create change strategy and ensures understanding and buy-in at senior, management & board level.
    • Contribute to establishing and improving the entity’s best practices in the area of project execution, control, and progress reporting.
    • Guide the development of project scope, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and compliance with governance process.
    • Ensure the gathering of crucial pieces of information such as strategic priorities, competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets, etc. from various internal and external sources in order to develop strategic options.
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key organizations and investors and champion the formulation of strategic business alliances.
    • Develop leading-edge thought from the financial services, academic, and general business world to provide situational guidance
    • Promote the optimal use of financial resources such as working capital, credit, and risk management
    • Develop data gathering and analysis tools/techniques.
    • Coach the team on adoption and understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices in the broader organization.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, finance or accounting or any related discipline
    • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience preferably in a similar role
    • Relevant professional qualification such as MBA, MSC, ACA, etc.  Prior experience in the financial services industry interest in financial products and markets  Interest in financial products and markets

    Team Lead, Market Risk

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the enforcement and implementation of market risk management policies and governance frameworks
    • Review and develop strategies to align the organisation's market risk management policies, frameworks, and activities with regulatory requirements
    • Conduct training on market risk-related topics to develop team member's risk literacy and awareness
    • Oversee the implementation of valuation modelling and analysis of market risk
    • Implement and enforce market risk limit for all risk-taking business units
    • Develop strategies and methodologies to mitigate potential market risk which may be beyond the organisation's risk appetite
    • Conduct assurance checks on risk modelling outputs for accurate assessment of controls and risk monitoring activities
    • Analyse identified legislation to determine its impact on the organisation's risk exposure and risk control requirements
    • Conduct scenario analysis on potential extreme market events to identify impact on market risk to the organisation
    • Conduct preliminary review and validation of valuation modelling and analytics findings to identify risk management-related insights
    • Review risk analysis and stress testing reports to ensure accuracy of reports and propose preliminary risk mitigation strategies
    • Review and ensure market risks are adequately addressed for new products, as part of new product approval processes
    • Review reports and/or presentations of financial forecast findings to explain the risk positions of products
    • Identify irregular market exposure positions across the organisation
    • Develop regulatory reports on market risk management positions
    • Serve as a market risk subject matter expert to the business.
    • Develop others' understanding of market risk management through thought leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
    • Interpret relevant legislation and regulations, legal documents, standards, and codes of practice relevant to the business units and their implications

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Legal (Master’s Degree
    • is an additional advantage)
    • Minimum of seven (7) years working experience in the financial services sector
    • Local and international certifications in Risk management, such as Certificate in Risk Management (CIRM)

    IT-Control Officer

    Key Duties / Responsibilities

    • Support in the development and management of programmes and initiatives meant to keep the group secure.
    • Support in the development and oversight of tools to control the flow of information within and outside the Bank.
    • Perform analysis on IT procedures/processes by reviewing the departmental working manual to identify process gaps and provide value adding recommendations.
    • Manage logical access on the Group’s applications, i.e creation of users’ account, role  modification, disabling of users’ account and password reset.
    • Conduct investigations in the event of a security breach such as cyber-attacks, virus infestations etc. and report the outcome and learning points.
    • Perform servers, database and operating system reviews.
    • Perform periodic review and monitoring of endpoint security i.e. antivirus, data leakage prevention etc.
    • Ensuring compliance with security standards, audits and regulatory requirements.

     Required Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

    • Solid knowledge of Information Technology processes including system development life cycle; change management; network controls.
    • Excellent communication, report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
    • Problem solving ability and ability to work well under pressure.
    • High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability
    • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, and is action oriented.
    • In-depth knowledge of security systems, information risk, principles and policies, and their  application

    Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience focused on information control
    • Possession of relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM etc.
    • Prior experience in the financial services industry with thorough knowledge of Group’s products,  services and capabilities.
    • Familiarity with Information Security industry standards/best practices and relevant laws and  regulation
