    Marketing Officer

    Responsibilities

    • A marketer is responsible for Developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
    • Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
    • Creating promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content.
    • Managing the company's online presence, including website and social media accounts.
    • Analyzing data to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborating with sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and support business growth.
    • Identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Building relationships with industry partners, vendors, and customers.
    • Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies.
    • Developing and managing marketing budgets and campaigns.
    • Creating and implementing marketing plans to drive revenue growth.
    • Communicating marketing initiatives to internal stakeholders.
    • Building brand awareness and reputation through thought leadership and content marketing.
    • Managing and optimizing the company's digital presence, including SEO and email marketing.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s / HND degree is required
    • Must have a master’s Degree, professional certification in business and marketing is a plus.
    • At least 5 years proven experience as a Marketer.
    • Strong experience in a Shipping/logistics industry
    • Existing customer base and an established network of contacts.
    • Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines.
    • Must have excellent networking skills.
    • Participation in industry-related events.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
    • Proven record of sales success.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies and achieving sales targets.
    • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share and profitability.

    Enterprise Sales Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Actively involved in sales of Internet solutions such as UTM, IP Telephony, Hosting, Security, Disaster Recovery, Cloud and Data Backup, Infrastructure, and other Value added and professional solutions
    • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Designing and implementing a strategic business/sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
    • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

    Requirements

    • BSc/MSc Degree in Information Technology or related field; Certification in Sales or Marketing will be an asset
    • Min of 4 years’ cognate experience as an Enterprise Sales Executive or related role with an Internet Service Provider is a must.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise

    Credit Control Officer

    Responsibilities

    • A Credit Control Officer is responsible for recovering money owed by a customer to the organization. The debts may be from either business (commercial collection) or individual (consumer collection) customers.
    • Reporting to the Financial Controller/Finance Manager or Credit Manager (depending on the size of the organization)
    • Chasing up overdue payments via telephone and email
    • Reviewing credit applications and references Check customer's credit and debt situation and decide existing clients credit worthiness status.
    • Promptly send and follow up invoices to clients for payment.
    • Check dummy account for payment from key clients.
    • Prompt allocation of payments to invoices in ERP system
    • Prompt collection of debt within the agreed credit period.
    • Reduce bad debt with the aim to reduce it to the lowest minimum.
    • Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company's policies and procedures.
    • Prompt Identification and correction of errors or mistakes on any client’s account.
    • Verify invoices from stores and prepare pro-formal invoices for clients to suit LPO/Award Letter.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a credit control officer
    • Relevant experience in credit and collections is a must.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Management
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Willingness to escalate debt issues
    • Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages.
