    Fund Manager

    Salary Budget: 10m -12m Anually

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement the fund’s investment strategies and manage its trading activities.
    • Engage in market intelligence research and analysis, to understand the market sentiment for informed investment recommendations and decisions for maximum profitability. 
    • Administer the daily management of the fund.
    • Sell and drive the fund\'s growth to achieve fund profitability.
    • Execute, and manage retail, institutional, and HNI strategy, considering  the market opportunity/growth potential, competitors\' activity, and existing capabilities.
    • Manage communications with Investors and Fund Subscribers on current market trends.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the Nigerian and International economy, current financial news, and financial market trends.

    Requirements.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is required. MBA or professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in fund management or relationship management roles within the banking or financial services industry.
    • Experience in the Mutual Fund market is highly preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build conversation and influence decision-makers at all levels.
    • Knowledge of Equities and Financial Markets
    • Excellent Financial Management Skills
    • Strong Analytical, Critical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills.
    • An SEC-Sponsored individual.

    Technical Sales Manager – Food Raw Materials

    Purpose of Job

    Lead sales team to achieve revenue goals and establish dominance of Food ingredient brands in the Food industry

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Internally Relates with Sales Team, Finance & Accounts, Supply Chain Externally Relates with Customers
    • Develop and oversee execution of sales strategy to increase customer base for Food Raw materials and expand market share to meet and exceed revenue goals
    • Use data and analytics to both formulate and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies 
    • Drive market development activities to align with company business goals and ensure strategic alignment in sourcing, sales, and marketing strategies.
    • Maintain awareness of industry trends, customer needs and competitor initiatives and devise strategies to optimally utilize market opportunities
    • Recognize and develop strategies to pursue new market segments and opportunities for business development with realistic forecasts
    • Maintain close relationship with principals and negotiate favorable trading terms 
    • Provide continuous nationwide technical support to customers deploying a consultative sales approach 
    • Maintain close and good relationship with key customers and expand the business portfolio
    • Oversee the profiling and conversion of key prospects to explore new business opportunities.
    • Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and sales bids to prospective customers
    • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of monthly budget and overall team objectives.
    • Oversee the planning and execution of technical trainings and seminars nationwide in consultation with principal partners for customers
    • Coordinate sales activities nationwide, while ensuring qualitative service delivery and compliance with standard policies and procedures.
    • Monitor product stock levels and oversee reorder process
    • Work closely with the Supply Chain department to ensure proper storage and timely delivery of products to meet customer demands
    • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the General Manager and Managing Director
    • Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data.

    Requirements

    • BSc in Microbiology, Food Technology, or other related discipline
    • Professional Certification in Marketing or Sales 
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in driving sales of food raw materials/raw materials with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
    • A master’s degree would be an added advantage
    • Strong product knowledge to enhance consultative selling and to provide technical support to customers
    • Ability to accurately forecast sales, advise on the right pricing strategy and carry out sales performance analysis
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing a winning sales strategy in the B2B Food industry
    • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a sales team to meet and exceed targets
    • Excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills)
    • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
