    Finance Lead

    Industry: Food & Beverage

    Work Mode: Hybrid

    Experience: 5-7 years (minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG)

    Role Description:

    The role of a Finance Lead (Nigeria) is crucial in overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the company. The Finance Lead is responsible for managing financial reporting, creating financial statements, analyzing financial data, overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, driving efficiency and profitability within the organization. Additionally, the Finance Lead (Nigeria) works closely with senior management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures Controller that align with the company's goals and objectives. Overall, the Finance lead plays a vital role in maintaining financial stability and driving sustainable growth for the business in Nigeria.

    Skills & Experience

    • Finance Degree, ACA or MBA highly valued.
    • Total of 5-7 years of experience with minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG industry
    • Tax & Treasury Policy Experience
    • ERP Systems Experience
    • Excellent IFRS accounting/reporting skills accompanied by strong analytical skills
    • Strong understanding of implementing global accounting policy controls framework
    • Strong fundamental business technical skills (including Excel and PowerPoint) and software applications (i.e., S4Hana) Strong financial and business acumen
    • Experience in commercial finance within CPG or similar industry

    Head of Operations

    Job Summary

    The ideal candidate has overall responsibility for Manufacturing, Engineering, Raw Materials, and product development. The position will lead integration of lean manufacturing design and development for the business. The key accountability of this position is to drive customer satisfaction via effective and efficient service delivery from order to delivery while maintaining a reasonable cost structure to achieve agreed corporate EBITDA.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the chain of activities from order to delivery.
    • Act as operations thought leader – evolving products and managing complexity through configuring and well thought out product development.
    • Oversee manufacturing operations and determine the needs and capabilities of each department.
    • Evaluate existing systems and think through product development and manufacturing processes to recommend improvement.
    • Steward the production system and the planning process and drive and support Operations.
    • Manage the manufacturing activity in an efficient, profitable, and sustainable operation.
    • Conduct the company's operations activity in accordance with its short or long-term strategic planning needs
    • Analyzes current and future trends and needs and accurately assesses functional responsibilities, competitive strengths, and vulnerabilities.
    • Report on a regular basis to the Managing Director with whom he will collaborate in finding the best solutions and strategies for the company's future.
    • Conduct daily Gemba walk, willing to pour through data and dig into problem solving solutions.
    • Manage employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring timely feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
    • Provide Leadership and Coaching support for the operations team.

    Educational & Professional Requirements

    • A Bachelor degree in Engineering., an MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in manufacturing operations from world class multinational organization.
    •  Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management
    • Must have leadership experience in Manufacturing Operations, Product Development and Lean Systems Leadership
