    Lab Chemist

    Position Summary
    Accountabilities:

    • Update, revise, and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents.
    • Ensure that quality control objectives and standards are followed.
    • Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOP’s, execution of Protocol’s, collecting the data’s for preparing the Report’s.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Verify Analytical reagent availability required for Testing, Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipments for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on production plan and take corrective actions as required.
    • Perform analytical tests in the laboratory as assigned by the Shift in-charge /Production Head and immediately report any problems with tests, equipment or results to the Shift in-charge /Production Head
    • Follow all Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as outlined in the Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual.
    • Perform laboratory administrative duties by receiving samples from customers as needed, calculating and
    • recording analytical results in the appropriate log book, data entry in the System, documenting QA/QC requirements.
    • Knowledge in microbiology and chemistry and experience in sampling and testing.
    • Provide on the Job trainings to existing and new personnel as required.
    • Be part of the investigation team to investigate for market complaints and out of specifications.
    • Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required..
    • Coordinate with cross functional department for materials and process requirement to achieve budget plan.
    • Participate in activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Safety
    • Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
    • Other Duties may be assigned as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in sciences
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Distillery/Sugar Industry as a Lab Chemist.

    Shift Engineer

    Position Summary
    Accountabilities:

    • Responsible for controlling the operation of the boilers, generators and auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner during the assigned shift.
    • Routine Maintenance operations as per Preventive maintenance plan
    • Support for SOPs, related to Operational and maintenance.
    • Support to Trainings need related to Mechanical operations
    • Monitoring the Safety conditions and corrective / preventive actions
    • Prepare and weekly and monthly reports for management

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise all aspects of the Cogen operations during assigned shift and effectively provide direction to lower level plant operators.
    • Ensure Cogen is operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner, and in compliance with the air permit.
    • Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
    • Perform and evaluate water analysis tests and the proper treatment of boiler water.
    • Execution of Scheduled Preventive maintenance as per timelines.
    • Critical Spare list and safety stock shall be maintained at any point of time.
    • Raise the PR for Spares and follow-up to stores Department
    • Monitor and maintain records for scheduled, preventive and breakdown Mechanical maintenance.
    • Address deviation and change control effectively, working with cross functional team
    • Prepare breakdowns and downtimes, to identify the root cause and to implement the CAPA to avoid the recurrence.
    • Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
    • Other Duties may be assigned as needed.

    Requirements

    • B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
    • 2 to 3 years of experience as shift engineer in Distillery/ Sugar / Power plant.

    ETP Operator

    Position Summary
    Accountabilities:

    • Supervise all aspects of the ETP effectively provide direction to lower level plant operators.
    • Ensure that quality control objectives and standards are followed.
    • Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOP’s, execution of Protocol’s, collecting the data’s for preparing the Report’s.
    • Coordinate with the team to carry out new process and process improvements in ETP for continuous improvement

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise all aspects of the ETP and effectively provide direction to lower level plant operators.
    • Ensure ETP is operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner, and in compliance with the Pollution control board norms.
    • Verify raw materials availability related to ETP Operation (like Dosing chemical etc...), Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipments for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on production plan and take corrective actions as required.
    • Monitoring of ETP operating parameters, In process Quality parameters of waste water, process water and chemical consumption on shift basis.
    • Operate and control the ETP process and its parameters using a PLC/DCS system.
    • Provide on the Job trainings to existing and new personnel as required.
    • Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required.
    • Report back to the immediate superior of any issue that is identified and resolved effectively.
    • Coordinate with cross functional department for materials and process requirement to achieve budget plan.
    • Participate in activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Safety
    • Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
    • Other Duties may be assigned as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ETP.
