    Supervisor - Fleet Management

    Description

    • Oversee the regular and preventive maintenance of MTNN fleet equipment and supervise skilled fleet mechanics. 
    • Maintain/manage vehicle licensing, vehicle renewals, vehicle fleet in terms of safety, statutory registrations, repairs, servicing, etc. and maintain cordial relationship with related service providers in line with approved policies and procedures.
    • Follow up with approved mechanical workshops on servicing and repairs of MTNN vehicles (boats, cars and motor cycles).
    • Review information/data on maintenance and fueling costs of each vehicle on a monthly basis to determine efficiency and/or abuse of vehicles. 
    • Recruit drivers and monitor feedback on their performance as well as develop and maintain database of all MTNN vehicles assigned to staff to whom, vehicles allocated to visitors and consultants, fleet maintenance and costs of fuel consumption as well as other tool-of-trade vehicles and their use within the regions.
    • Maintain fuel records of vehicles in the region to check and prevent fraud and ensure optimal usage. 
    • Review and approve payment for overtime hours of drivers, helpline operators and dispatchers.
    • Conduct monthly inspection of fleet activities within the region, generate fleet report and reconcile invoices from vendors to ensure proper accountability/accuracy. 
    • Liaise with law enforcement agencies e.g. Nigerian Police, LASTMA, and Road safety, on all fleet related issues within the region.

    Education:

    • First degree in Transport Studies or any other Social Science discipline
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    • 3 – 7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others
    • Experience working in a medium  organization 
    • Experience in people management, especially managing a large number of semi-skilled persons.
    • Experience in relating directly with regulatory authorities (Police, Immigrations, Road Traffic regulatory authorities.)
    • Some experience in protocol related service is also desirable

    Manager - Go to Market

    Mission:

    • Manage the propositions and go-to-market portfolio to profitably satisfy customer needs and aspirations
    • Support the achievement of MTN’s overall vision of leadership in the Nigerian ICT space through above-the-curve commercial execution of campaigns.

    Description:

    • Design a go-to-market strategy for high-value and mobile financial services propositions.
    • Design, develop, document, implement, and measure a clear, well-defined proposition go-to-market strategy (building on the products and services roadmap from the High Value and Mobile Financial Services segment).
    • Responsible for the development of a channel/distribution strategy in conjunction with sales and distribution and customer awareness by having end-to-end accountability for their commercial delivery into the market.
    • Work with Segment Managers and Business Intelligence team to analyze customer needs, feedback from the market, and aspirations and draw relevant insights for the implementation of propositions for the high-value and mobile financial services segments.
    • Ensure the successful launch of high-value and mobile financial services propositions and drive 360-degree go-to-market execution above and through the line.
    • Position MTN’s high-value and mobile financial services propositions are best-in-class and best-in-market and bring MTN’s high-value and mobile financial services products to the forefront of available distribution channels to increase overall service adoption and ARPU contribution.
    • Provide go-to-market input into business cases for proposed high-value and mobile financial services propositions.
    • Working with master brand and media units to develop and execute communication strategies for high-value and mobile financial services products in terms of advertising and deployments.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the marketplace and current and evolving opportunities for mobile operators and other industries with regard to MTN’s high-value and mobile financial services propositions.
    • Develop a strategic marketing plan for the regions to achieve business objectives for newly launched propositions, promotions, and services.
    • Evaluate the viability of identified partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden the company’s high-value and mobile financial services offerings portfolio as inputs from the market.
    • Collaborate with proposition owners to communicate product features and benefits and to adjust requirements as appropriate to optimize return on investment based on market feedback.
    • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of business/operational go-to-market tools and processes related to high-value and mobile financial services offerings.
    • Collaborate with segment/proposition managers to develop attractive propositions and go-to-market packages for high-value and mobile financial services offerings.
    • Define and clearly communicate the ‘why,’ ‘what,' and ‘when’ of propositions to the marketplace in collaboration with the segment manager through internal communications, customer relations, sales and distribution channels, regional operations, and all relevant ATL and BTL agencies in alignment with MTN's marketing strategy.
    • Strategic Partnerships with  MTNN leadership team to drive awareness of expected behaviors and the impact of non-compliance on bottom-line results and company image and reputation
    • Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g., strategic investors, technical and financial partners, business consultants, etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.

    Education:

    • First degree in a related field
    • Possession of an MBA will be an advantage.
    • Fluent in English

    Experience:

    6–13 years’ experience, which includes:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising or managing others.
    • Experience working in a medium- to large organization
    • Experience managing product promotions
    • Experience in collaborating with and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
    • A good understanding of systems, networks, mobile telecoms, and mobile applications

    Manager - International Business Roaming and IDD

    Mission:

    Management and coordination of end to end (wholesale and retail) international roaming and IDD activities with respect to services offered by MTNN and her Roaming partner and Carriers.

    Description:

    • Ensuring that international roaming operations are compliant with all GSMA requirements and regulations
    • Review processes for roaming and IDD especially as relates to functions outside of job control
    • Manage incidents related to international roaming & IDD (RAP files, fraud events, customer complaints)
    • Analyze and manage wholesale negotiation, roaming footprint and implementations according to the agreed strategy, roadmaps, and priorities.
    • Collaborate with YCRH to expand roaming footprint to improve outbound roaming experience and increase inbound roamer traffic to MTN Nigeria
    • Establish, manage, and develop relations with Roaming Partners, Roaming Hubs, carriers etc.
    • Review Partner Roaming Agreement changes and the business response thereof. Ensure involvement of stake holders such as Billing, Finance, Revenue Assurance and Networks to enable appropriate response.
    • Manage roaming testing by partner networks and follow up issuance and receipt of TCC and CLL.
    • Manage inventory of Roaming and roaming document updates.
    • Support troubleshooting for roaming setup, timely update of MTNN International roaming documentation and coordinate commercial launch and manage stakeholder expectations on roaming.
    • Serve internal and external customers and provide solutions to improve roaming experience.
    • Act as cross-functional link between different internal departments within MTN and external 3rd party organizations.
    • Manage and coordinate efforts, inputs, and outputs from cross functional departments with regards to international roaming.
    • Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. roaming hubs, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
    • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
    • Coach and influence external partners and essential support departments across MTNN’s business units to deliver a seamless pre-sales and post-sales service experience.
    • Analyze, manage and negotiate commercial roaming agreements and IOT discount agreements with reference to GSMA roaming guidelines
    • Validate wholesale cost through proper interpretation of roaming contracts for settlement of discount roaming agreements.
    • Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape. 
    • Manages and develop wholesale roaming services in line with regulation, technology change and VRS strategy.

    Analyst- Wholesale Roaming

    Mission:

    • Responsible for coordinating day to day wholesale roaming and IDD activities and interface with cross functional units.
    • Assist in monitoring the implementation of all roaming agreements and ensure roaming issues are resolved within agreed timelines.

    Description:

    • Acts as primary point of contact for daily operational issues.
    • Acts as primary point of contact to/for international roaming partners regarding to contractual or escalation issue.
    • Continuously monitors and handle incidents related to wholesale roaming operations (RAP files, fraud events, customer complaints).
    • Ensure commercial launch of roaming in line with agreed date of Roaming Partnership.

    • Execute the SIM Card exchange process between MTN and its roaming partners/Hubs.

    • Draw up safeguards to ensure tariff application and TAPIN and TAPOUT are as contracted via standard AA.14 or via bilateral DIOT agreements.

    Analyst - Treasury Operations

    Description

    • Evaluate banks and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g. CBN, NOTAP).
    • Collate information on economic conditions, the financial climate, and changes in corporate requirements.
    • Prepare management reports on market, competitor and general intelligence that impact the business. 
    • Provide support to the business units requiring assistance in Treasury matters.
    • Maintain Treasury records and audit trail in strict compliance to MTNN policies and procedures. 
    • Implement Treasury policies, processes, and procedures and tools for corporate cash management.
    • Report year end audit as relates to Treasury.
    • Query and verify all General Ledger balances relating to bank accounts.
    • Monitor cash sweeps from the various sub accounts to main accounts plus other transfers.
    • Carry out ratio analysis on banks, collate and analyze data on risk ratings and exposure limits, cash movements, exchange rate movements, bank charges, interest rates, lending rates, placements etc.
    • Collate daily bank indicative quotes for investment placements to aid investment decisions made by Treasury.
    • Ensure that payments, repayments, interest payments and underwriting fees are effected as per mandate.

    Ensure that escalated compliance issues and complaints relating to the Banking SLA are followed up and feedback communicated to customer

    Education:

    • First degree in Accounting, Economics or any other related discipline
    • Part qualification/membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    3 – 7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others
