    Managing Director

    Responsibilities

    • The Managing Director has a global role all over the activities of the company and growth of the Company
    • Ensure that Company achieves its business objectives and creates an environment that promotes staff commitment to the achievement of the organisational vision, mission, and strategy.
    • He will support, manage and develop sales, financial and operational activities.
    • Plan, coordinate and manage all business operations to achieve corporate goals
    • Identify business opportunities with new and existing customers.
    • Formulation of the short and medium term Group strategy; to set up correspondent goals and progress plan; to ensure implementation providing solutions to issues
    • Provide strategic advice to the HQ so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
    • To evaluate and improve the operation and financial performances; to research and identify opportunities; to oversee budget preparation and to maintain budgets and optimize expenses
    • To oversee day-to-day operations and supporting services activities; to ensure employees work productively and develop professionalism
    • To oversee the maintenance, the protection and the security of the properties, assets and the employees
    • To oversee the interaction with unions, the recruitment and the training of new employees and the employee assessment process
    • To initiate actions to support and develop a good social climate
    • To interact with local communities, local and provincial authorities for all matters involving the company
    • To prepare activity’s report for upper management and to oversee financial reporting

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field of study from a recognised university
    • MBA is a plus
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar senior management role (MD, GM, Operations Director, Project Director)
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry (engineering, fabrication, maritime, exploration & production)
    • Proven experience in managing a large team (nationals & expatriates)
    • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
    • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
    • Organisational and leadership skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organization and leadership skills
    • Experience navigating / relations with Nigerian Oil & Gas / Manufacturing regulatory bodies is a plus.

    Head, Warehousing and Logistics

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the warehousing and logistics operations in Nigeria
    • Multi-site responsibilities. Various locations across Nigeria
    • Oversee the development of the customer service activities
    • In charge of the relationships and communications with the clients
    • Manage complaints, requests, and enquires from customers
    • Train and develop the logistics team
    • Supervise the overall performance of the Warehousing and Logistics Operations team
    • Providing regular reports
    • Managing and forecasting spare parts required by the business
    • Budget management.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management from a recognised University
    • Master’s degree will be a plus
    • Minimum of 10 years working experience in a similar senior role in an international company
    • Experienced in inventory management, stock keeping, warehousing and logistics
    • Experience with handling importation and shipping in Nigeria
    • Strong customer service and client facing skills
    • Knowledge and experience with dealing with government agencies like SON, NAFDAC, etc.
    • Team management experience.

    Internal Audit Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees the activities of all Departments and Sections under his control.
    • Responsible to play a critical role of delivering our organization’s strategic objectives of control processes, adequacy and effectiveness of governance and management of risks, giving an evidence-based opinion on all aspects of governance, risk management, and internal audit.
    • Design and prepare Annual Audit Plan by applying a risk-based approach to ensure the organization complies with internal regulations and policies and established protocols
    • Develop and maintain the internal control and audit procedures
    • Assess the suitability of current internal controls, making suggestions for improvements where needed.
    • Liaise with internal advisors and examines documentation, including reports, statements, records, and memos to gather information.  
    • Keep company from engaging in potentially illegal or unethical activities.
    • Conducts regular internal audits and reviews to assess the compliance of Accounting departments and individual employees.
    • Engages actively with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings .
    • Addresses specific training and development needs to fill compliance gaps.
    • Manages transfer pricing, consolidation and implements IFRS legislation.
    • Formulates policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance, and efficiency.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance
    • Master's degree is a plus
    • Minimum of 15 years of cognate experience as Internal Audit Manager in a recognised  financial organisation
    • Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
    • Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail
    • Team management experience.

    Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety and environmental compliance within the company (multi-sites)
    • Ensure that all employees, clients and contractors are following proper procedures and protocols at all times
    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local & state rules and regulations
    • Maintain OH&S management system in compliance with State and Organizational requirements.
    • Measure and report on enterprise HSE Performance. This will include Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Review and analysis of all hazardous activities, recommend and implement preventive measures.
    • Perform safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures and follow up on task completion.
    • Manage Company HSE Equipment (Tools and PPE) inventory and ensure timely safety equipment inspection whether internally or by contractors.
    • Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
    • Coordinate with HR on compliance with HSE Training requirements.
    • Ensure management of all hazardous waste and maintain records of the same.
    • Ensure compliance with Occupational regulations and standards like State Fire Service, State and Federal Ministry of Environment.
    • Develop and implement efficient operations emergency response plans and ensure compliance with state regulations.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering from a recognised University
    • Master's degree is a plus
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar senior role within a large group operating in Nigeria
    • Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation by using Tripod Beta Tool, HSE Auditing Techniques, HEMP, Radiological Safety.
    • HSE Standards like ISO 45001, ISO4001:2004 and ISO 18001.
    • HSE Certifications like NEBOSH General Certificate, ISO 45001 Lead Implementer and auditor
    • Team management experience.
