    Corporate Finance Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Reviewing financial forecasts to determine whether they are realistic or likely to be achieved.
    • preparing budgets and monitoring spending to ensure that it complies with company policies.
    • Analyzing prospective investments to determine their viability and risk.
    • preparing reports on financial status or progress of projects to upper management
    • Ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded in the company's accounting system in a diligent manner.
    • Negotiating terms of loans and other financial transactions with lenders and other parties
    • Determining which investments are profitable based on interest rates, market conditions, and other factors reviewing financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and complete and determine whether they are realistic or likely to be achieved.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business-related field
    • 3 - 5 years previous experience in a similar role
    • Master's degree will be an added advantage
    • Any relevant professional qualification (CFA, ACCA ICAN or MBA is an added advantage)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Strategic & analytical thinking skills
    • Proven track record of successful financial management and analysis
    • I-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles
    • Expertise in financial modelling and forecasting
    • Research and information handling

    Portfolio Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Generating an investment policy statement outlining our clients’ investment objectives
    • Staying up to date with relevant investment, trading news, and economic trends.
    • Constructing successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends. Buying and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy or to reach an investment objective.
    • Perform significant market research to develop portfolios.
    • Communicate with clients about their accounts, market conditions and economic trends.
    • Manage equity and bond portfolios to maximize investment returns.
    • Designing investment packages, managing client expectations and transactions to achieve set objectives.
    • Commensurate acceptable levels of risk based on client instructions.
    • Maintaining new and existing client relationships, including informing clients of market conditions, updating them on investment research and economic trends, and 
    • Meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives.

    Requirements

    • B.SC Business Administration/Finance/Economics
    • Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA Should be an added advantage
    • 5 - 7 years relevant experience
    • Demonstrated understanding of capital markets
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Strong analytical skills with high level of attention
    • Financial Accounting and Analysis
    • Proficient use of accounting software (Info ware, sage300, cloud integra)
    • Proficient use of Microsoft office
