    Human Resources Manager

    Location: Sagamu, Ogun

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and participate in the development, formulation and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs; recommend and administer HR policies and procedures.
    • Investigate complaints and recommend appropriate action, take the necessary disciplinary action when required.
    • Fully administer and manage all company employee relations and personnel functions, files and documentations.
    • Structure and implement programs and policies
    • Act as a Business Partner by providing internal consultation to other departments within the Business.
    • Represent management in Labour contract negotiations and monitor implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions to ensure compliance with terms of Labour contract
    • Manage the end to end promotion cycle with any assessments required to be done. This includes providing all advice required for the business managers of subsidiary companies
    • Interacted with functional and category managers for identification and evaluation of training requirements and rendered inputs to the corporate learning & development team
    • Prepared and maintained updated annual and monthly training calendars for the territory in consultation with the Head – HR and DGM and ensured dissemination of calendar to the territory.
    • Set up database for maintaining accuracy in records and reports to corporate learning & development team; conducted research on new and latest techniques for possible inclusion into existing training process.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Human Resources or any other related field
    • Minimum of 5 years’experience as an HR Expert in a manufacturing company
    • Professional certification in human resources is required
    • Must be able to think creatively and contribute to strategic HR discussions
    • Excellent spoken and written skills
    • Must be ambitious and willing to learn and grow.

    Production Pharmacist

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking to strengthen their production operations with the addition of a Production Pharmacist.

    Responsibilities

    • Carryout manufacturing activities according to formulation and manufacturing procedures
    • Participates in planning and organizing the production activities of the company.
    • Implements Operational manuals, production plans and programs.
    • Ensures conformance of manufacturing processes to organizational objectives and policies.
    • Supervise and monitor batch processing from Dispensing to Final packaging
    • Checks the availability of adequate raw and packing materials, utilities and machine size parts.
    • Executes the weekly and monthly production plans according to the schedule.
    • Controls production process and production facilities and ensure that manufacturing activities are in compliance with the requirements of cGMP and all standard yields along production lines are maintained.
    • Ensures the general cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the manufacturing areas and production personnel.
    • Ensures that all production equipment are maintained in good working order.
    • Assists in pilot scale trials of products under development.
    • Responsible for all materials issued from warehouse for manufacturing.
    • Supervises duties of subordinates, operators and rest of workers and ensures discipline and good working culture among the staff.
    • Ensures on the job training of production personnel.
    • Ensures production personnel are kitted in relevant PPEs before entering into production area in accordance with relevant SOPs.
    • Prepares daily/weekly/monthly production reports indicating relevant KPIs.

    Requirements

    • Must possess a First Degree in Pharmacy
    • Five (5) years production work experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
    • Knowledge of production lines (tablets, liquids & ointments) is an advantage.
    • Must be computer literate.
    • Proven experience in training and development of staff to meet set goals.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to multi-task, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast paced environment.

    Electrical Engineer – (Drug Manufacturing)

    Our client is a leading reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking to strengthen their production operations with the addition of an Electrical Engineer

    Summary

    The Electrical Maintenance Technician to look after the electrical system of our factory. The incumbent will be required to conduct general maintenance inspections, perform routine electrical maintenance, respond to faults and wiring issues, and install electrical appliances for the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
    • Identifying faults or hazards
    • Knowledge of Electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
    • Troubleshooting system failures
    • Testing of electrical systems with digital multi-meter.
    • Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures
    • Responding to fault requests
    • Providing suggestions for equipment replacement.
    • Writing electrical maintenance reports.
    • Installing new electrical appliances (D & I) in the factory
    • Ability to resolve the problem with minimum time
    • Ability to work on the following: star/Delta starter, DOL starter, VFD, Electrical motor, temperature controller, level sensor, Interlocking system, PCC, MCC, Operation of Generator, Synchronizing of Generator
    • Knowledge of ACB/VCB operation and maintenance,
    • Ability to understand sizing of cable, Overload relay, contactor according to size of Electric Motor.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 4 years factory working experience in a Manufacturing space
    • ND/Technical Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
    • Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of infrared sensors/proximity sensors, VFD and Electric motors. 
    • Draw and interpret electrical/wiring diagrams and schematics
    • Knowledge and operation of power generation and distribution systems
    • Knowledge and operation of electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic devices
    • Experience in Boiler Electrical Maintenance
    • Reporting skill for material, breakdown.

    Superintendent Pharmacist

    Job Description

    • Responsible for both Infusions and Formulation plant ( Tablets, Capsules & Liquid orals )
    • Total responsible for all matters that relate to the company and ensuring/monitoring continuous improvement of GMP on the process by process basis, Capacity utilization of the plant, Process control/ validation and Manufacturing and materials usage
    • Interface with all government regulatory bodies 
    • Initiate, monitor and document regular company self-audit
    • Responsible for the authorization of manufacturing process, releasing, and delivery of finished goods
    • Responsible for on job training and development of personnel as well as their health and
    • Regular liaison with Health authority and advice management accordingly
    • Shares responsibility with the head of engineering in ensuring that all equipment weight and measures are well standardized and certified that government policies and regulation regarding the safety of equipment building and personnel are always adhering to.
    • Responsible for registration of all our company products with regulatory authorities
    • Carry out other functions within or outside the factory as may be assigned by management.
    • Handling of market complaint with QC/QA

    Requirements;

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Pharmacist with minimum 3 years in a similar position
    • Must have work experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
    • Proven experience in Pharmaceutical Formulations with good Leadership role
    • Managerial and Monitoring skill with good exposure with CGMP
    • Good Analytical skills and Communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Market Knowledge, Selling Skills and Coordinating skills
