    Director, IT Audit

    Position Overview:

    The Director, IT Audit will direct IT Audit operations and strategy for auditing information systems, platforms and operating procedures following established procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. This hybrid role requires someone who is organized and methodical who has very strong audit and risk assessment experience.

    Key Resposibilities

    1. Develop an annual IT Audit Plan that will specify the audit work to be conducted across the enterprise infrastructure. The scope and frequency of the audits will depend on the risk and impact of potential deficiencies in the IT related processes and systems. The risks can be related to traditional financial impacts, but also to issues which could violate certain regulatory requirements.
    2. Lead annual and/or ongoing evaluation of IT infrastructure and establish control and audit procedures to identify areas of risks and non-compliance.
    3. Coordinate all IT Audit works, evaluate audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation and upgrade processes
    4. Review audit repotd and supporting work papers to ensure that reports are well written, and findings, conclusions and recommendations are properly supported, prior to formal release to and follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders
    5. Establish and facilitate the achievement of all performance indicators in the annual goals of the Internal Audit division.
    6. Develop competency and capacity of IT Audit Associates and Manager(s) with training and coaching that reflect IT Auditing best practices. Supervise and evaluate the performance of IT Audit Associates and Manager(s)
    7. Collaborate with other Divisional Directors within Internal Audit to ensure that activities of Internal Audit are effectively and efficiently coordinated
    8. Represent Internal Audit at meetings with other business divisions in Moniepoint Group and external stakeholders.
    9. Perform other jobs (ad hoc) related duties assigned by the Chief Audit Officer.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in any of the following: Computer Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Information or Business
    • At least one of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, ISO/ IEC 27001 & ISO 22301- LEad Auditors
    • Demonstrate strong data analytics capabilities, including SQL database scripting, visualization methods, techniques, and tools (e.g., Power BI, Alterxy, Tableau, etc.).

    Experience:  Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years of integrated Financial/IT Auditing Experience

    Inventory Support Officer (Gombe)

    Job Summary:

    The Inventory Support Officer is responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the management of inventory and ensuring accurate recording and tracking of stock levels. They will assist in maintaining efficient inventory control processes, conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and facilitating the smooth flow of inventory operations.

    Job Description:

    • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, item descriptions, locations, and hardware movements.
    • Monitor inventory levels, identify stock shortages, and coordinate with the hardware engineers, hardware operations and distribution team to ensure timely replenishment.
    • Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded inventory.
    • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess stock.
    • Hardware Reconciliation and Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including discrepancies between physical stock and recorded inventory, as well as discrepancies in stock locations.
    • Coordinate with relevant teams, such as warehouse, logistics, and operations, to resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management, including streamlining procedures, enhancing data accuracy, and implementing best practices.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status, stock availability, and any inventory-related concerns.
    • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by his/her Line Manager.

    Requirements:

    • OND/ HND , Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
    • Similar experience in inventory management or related roles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of inventory control principles, stock management techniques, and inventory valuation methods.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
    • Resident in the South Eastern region of Nigeria.
