    Chief Compliance Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organisation operates within legal and regulatory boundaries, while maintaining high ethical standards. 
    • He/She will provide strategic leadership for the compliance function, develop and implement compliance policies, conduct risk assessments, and foster a culture of compliance. 

    The Ideal Candidate must have:

    • A bachelor's degree in law, business administration, finance, or related field
    • An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • Professional membership with a relevant body or institution
    • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in financial services, 5 of which must be in a senior leadership role
    • Strong understanding of relevant laws and industry regulations/standards
    • Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective compliance programmes/policies as well as executing strategies to mitigate compliance risks
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and educate others on compliance matters
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Extensive experience in coordinating and participating in external compliance audits and reviews

    Executive Director

    Job Summary

    • The Executive Director reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. 
    • The role incumbent is responsible for formulating and executing the Bank’s strategy across different banking market segments, in line with business objectives agreed by the Board of the Bank.

    The Ideal Candidate must have:

    • A first degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant field
    • An MBA or relevant Master’s degree
    • Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CIS, ACA, FCA, etc.)
    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ cognate experience in the financial services sector, with 10 successive years in a senior management capacity
