Duties
Under the supervision of the Deputy Facility Manager, the Architect is the technical lead for the Facility Management (FM) section. Working with a team of skilled tradespersons, they are responsible for maintaining the Embassy building systems, including component assemblies and finishes, both interior and exterior.
Oversees the design and project management of sustainment, modernization, repairs, building improvements, alterations, extensions, or restoration projects; reviews Statements of Work (SOW) and building documents to ensure designs are code compliant, functional and within budgetary restraints; acts as Contract Officer’s Representative (COR), Government Technical Monitor (GTM) or the equivalent on post facility contracts; implements all safety regulations on post facilities and residential properties.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, in Architecture or Architectural Engineering or similar architecture degree is required. The degree curriculum must: (1) be in a school of architecture with at least one curriculum accredited or equivalent by the National Architecture Accreditation Board (NAAB) or Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), or equivalent host-country architecture or engineering board, as a professional architecture curriculum.

Duties
The CDC Nigeria Senior Information Management Specialist is the information technology (IT) Team Lead and has responsibility for day-to-day IT service management at the CDC Office in Nigeria. In this capacity, the incumbent manages and coordinates all information and communications technology (ICT) related matters including cloud systems, data storage, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, video conferencing, IT security, and computer hardware and software, ensuring that all ICT systems and services necessary for the country program office are always operational.
Job holder reviews core infrastructure performance optimal efficiently, ensures effective support services by service contractors and assists in the formulation of IT operating budgets. This position provides instructional training to all CDC Nigeria staff on the proper use and security of IT equipment, and advanced instruction to CDC and external partner staff on office productivity software and public health software programs.
Incumbent serves as the liaison between CDC Nigeria and counterparts from the CDC HQ IT Services Organization. This position reports to the USDH Associate Director for Partner Management & IT, supervises two IT Assistants and provides IT support and customer service for over 100 CDC Nigeria employees.

The job holder must possess a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a mid to senior role with Windows operating systems and platforms, with installation, management and optimal usage and configuration of hardware and software and with managing and maintaining a LAN is required. Of these 5 years, incumbent must have at least 2 years' experience with Cisco network switches and routers.
