    Flight Instructor

    Job Summary

    • Your role will be to provide ground classes and flight instruction on our simulator to Zino Aviation
    • students preparing for flight school. You will also be required to support them virtually with online ground classes and mentorship throughout their time at flight school. You will be required to schedule student lessons, maintain records, and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student in each flight course. You will also be involved in conducting flight assessments for airlines and organizations training or/and recruiting pilots. 

    Minimum Requirements

    • SACAA, FAA, TCAA, EASA or NCAA Certificated Flight Instructor.
    • Airplane Single-Engine, Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating.
    • Glass Cockpit experience is desirable.
    • G1000 experience is desirable.
    • Preference will be given to Instrument and Multi-Engine Instructors.

    Key Responsibilites

    • Teach students all PPL and CPL topics such as Aircraft Technical and general, Human Performance, Principles of Flight, Meteorology, Air Law, Flight Planning and performance, Navigation, and Radio Telephony.
    • Develop instructional materials based on practical analysis and insights.
    • Provide assistance as a subject matter expert and provide other relevant supporting materials to instruct students of various levels of experience, ability, and background.
    • Improve your own aeronautical knowledge and flying skills through continuing education and operational experiences.
    • Provide efficient flight instruction in line with established procedures and Civil
    • Aviation regulations.
    • Develop and provide instructional modules to enable students to get certification in various flight operation categories.
    • Develop instructional modules to include a broad range of topics such as operation procedures, aircraft systems, emergency procedures, navigation, etc.
    • Provide practical training in Zino Aviation’s simulators relevant to the areas covered during theory lessons as well as teach students flight maneuvers.
    • Design and utilize training manuals, equipment, course materials, and other
    • supporting materials to provide instruction.
    • Organize and conduct cockpit familiarization classes and prepare reports on each student’s proficiency based on established parameters.
    • Maintain student progress reports and provide special coaching and counseling for weaker students.
    • Develop innovative techniques, training aids, and methods to improve training efficiency.
    • Provide expert knowledge to instructional system designers and develop classroom materials, simulator and aircraft lessons, instructor and student guides, and other training materials.

    • Strong IFR skills

    Video Editor & Graphics Designer (Motion, Static & Video)

    • We are seeking a Video Editor and Graphics Designer to help us create visual art for various digital mediums.
    • Working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for efficiently producing high-quality visual content for our social media platforms and other digital campaigns.
    • You will be responsible for designing all content in the content calendar and fulfilling projects allocated to you by the Digita Marketing Executive.
    • You will need to have skills and demonstrable skills in video editing, designing static graphics and motion graphics.
    • We are looking for an all-round designer who can switch from designing flyers one day to creating motion graphics and editing videos on other days.
    • The ideal candidate MUST possess very HIGH attention to detail and have an eye for aesthetics. You must be a self-starter who can work quickly, juggle multiple tasks as well as meet and supersede deadlines.
    • The ideal candidate must be a well-organized self-starter who is action-orientated and prepared to work in a start-up environment.
    • As our Graphics and Multimedia Designer, you will have a direct impact on communicating our brand identity to the public. You will be responsible for catching their attention through engaging, eye-catching and enlightening digital art.

    Key Responsibilites

    • Creating and delivering motion graphics for various media.
    • Creating static graphics such as social media posts and event flyers.
    • Selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for digital content.
    • Editing video footage and adding effects/elements, subtitles, and sound.
    • Filming professional content with singular and multi-camera setups.
    • Creating all content as described in the weekly/monthly content calendar.
    • Working closely and reporting to the Digital Marketing Executive.
    • Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.
    • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on demand.
    • Meeting and superseding all deadlines assigned by Digital Marketing and CEO.
    • Communicating with the team about layouts and design concepts.
    • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company projects, proposals and websites with software such as Photoshop and Canva.
    • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

    Preferred Skills

    • A video editor with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field, with expertise in graphics design and motion graphics.
    • Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a portfolio of sample projects.
    • Experience shooting and editing videos with professional cameras in multi-camera setups.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any discipline, preferably Graphics Design, Computer Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.
    • Highly proficient computer skills, using relevant tools namely, Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects), CorelDraw, Autodesk 3ds Max, Canva and any other design software.
    • Sound knowledge and demonstrable experience in creating and managing multimedia content in a range of formats.
    • Knowledge of video and audio production and editing skills.
    • Experience in social media content creation.
