    Data Analyst

    Job Description

    • The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing information across our platform data sources to understand opportunities to increase the number and value of customers on our platform.
    • This will require an individual with good attention to detail, intermediate to advanced computer skills and ability to develop processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Analysis and manipulation of multiple data sources utilizing Excel; will require use of VLOOKUP, PIVOT Table, and advanced filtering and sorting techniques. 
    • Provide high quality finished dashboards, reports, and workbooks. 
    • Understand key performance metrics and functional goals and ideate data solutions. 
    • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary. 
    • Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets. 
    • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines. 
    • Helping develop reports and analysis. 
    • Generating reports from single or multiple systems. 
    • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports. 
    • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards. 
    • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.). 
    • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a data analyst. 
    • 3+ years of hand on experience with big data including Hadoop/Hive and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects. 
    • 3+ experience writing SQL statements, pulling data, combining and performing analytics using query development tools like Toad, SQL Developer, HQL.
    • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks. 
    • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide solution and recommendations. 
    • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. 
    • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.

    Category Manager (FMCG)

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a Category Manager to join our team! As a Category Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing a group or category of products.
    • You will also be responsible for finding suppliers, negotiating pricing and payment terms with suppliers, expanding product assortment for the categories, and managing product margins.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Research and analyze data and market insights.
    • Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
    • Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
    • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
    • Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
    • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.
    • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
    • Have full ownership of category performance including forecasting, monitoring, reporting on the business, along with contributing to driving projects and trading strategy to achieve business goals.
    • Lead effective negotiations with suppliers to establish joint goals, improve cost structure, and sustainably grow the P&L.
    • Influence the design of the categories, as well as contribute to new product groups and improve the customer experience to deliver growth.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc / B.A in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
    • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry as purchasing, supply chain management professional & Sourcing expert.
    • Sales and result oriented with ability to manage budgets.
    • Team player.
    • Experience in a retail or key account management environment with a proven track record of delivering results.
    • Experience in category management is a strong plus.
    • Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
    • The successful candidate must be highly analytical, self-starting and thrive in a high energy environment.

    Purchasing Manager (Buyer)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to be responsible for daily communication with suppliers to confirm goods availability, pricing, and supply lead time.
    • Your responsibilities will include processing inventory monitoring, raising purchase requests, and liaising with suppliers.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with inventory team, management, and warehouse as required.
    • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
    • Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
    • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
    • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
    • Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
    • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
    • Ensure product availability.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
    • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
    • Experience in FMCG industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
