    Maintenance Engineer

    On behalf of our client a manufacturing company in the business of manufacturing drums, household goods and furniture. We require the following individuals to join their team:

    OVERVIEW

    The individual will supervise and manage the maintenance activity for production related equipment including but not limited to injection moulding machines, moulds, hot runner systems, diesel and gas generators, air compressors, scrap grinders, cooling towers and water pumps for the entire plant.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Maintenance of production related equipment

    • To be responsible for the maintenance of all injection moulding machines, moulds, hot runner systems, diesel and gas generators, air compressors, scrap grinders, cooling towers and water pumps for the entire plant to ensure they are in good working order and all safety measures are active as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
    • To supervise the maintenance team consisting of a minimum of 20 people.
    • To ensure that all daily mould changes are supervised and carried as per the requirement of the production manager.
    • To prepare and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all production related equipment.
    • To ensure that and be responsible for monthly checks of the Firefighting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
    • To effectively prioritize maintenance work orders given to internal maintenance team with a view to improve
    • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime.
    • To effectively prioritize maintenance work orders given to external contractors and follow up on their timely
    • completion. Submit progress report on a monthly basis. Ensure proper accounting of the same.
    • To ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained on the manufacturing shop floor.

    2. Procurement

    To ensure that the inventory of spare parts (both imported and locally procured), fuels and oils are available and where required initiate the order process.

    3. Reports

    • Maintain daily reports of (i) Diesel and Gas generator operation (ii) Air compressor operation (iii) Water treatment plant.
    • Submit monthly closing stock report of (i) All spare parts (ii) Fuels and oils.
    • Submit monthly consumption reports of (i)Power consumption from Diesel and Gas Generators (ii) Power
    • supply from national grid (PHCN) (iii) All fuels and oils.
    • Prepare machine break down reports, mould change reports, maintain machine maintenance history cards.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering. An electrical engineering specialisation will be an advantage.
    • A person with at least 10 years of experience in maintenance of all production related equipment as stated above.
    • A person having exposure in supervising a team of at least 20 efficiently.
    • A person with basic computer knowledge being able to use programs such as Email, MS Excel and Word.

      Husky Operator

    On behalf of our client a manufacturing company in the business of manufacturing drums, household goods and furniture. We require the following individuals to join their team:

    LOCATION:                                      Makun

    1. OVERVIEW

    The Snr. Operator is responsible for directing a small team of moulding technicians in the areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance and quality. He will manage all operational activities including mould processing, machine maintenance, and tool maintenance.

    2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
    • Adjust machine controls whilst monitoring the production process and outputs
    • Troubleshoot and adjust moulding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output
    • Lead a small team of people in execution of daily production tasks, work scheduling, training, maintenance and in continuous improvement
    • Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for customer issues or to initiate continuous improvement
    • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repair and maintenance
    • Ensure cleanliness and maintains safe work environment within the Production department
    • Direct and coordinate planning and scheduling of moulding production with the Production Manager to consistently meet expected product delivery schedules and inventory levels.
    • Responsible for assuring the efficient use of materials, machines, moulds, auxiliary equipment and employees.
    • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff

    QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the plastic industry, specifically in the injection molding process.
    • in a manufacturing environment and supervisory experience
    • Should have basic computer knowledge on the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge on HUSKEY, SACMI machines preferably worked in manufacturing company having knowledge of PET preform injection process and moulds.
    • Must have knowledge in Safe System of works, wastage control, improve quantity and qualiy and good exposure to ISO 9000 Environment.
    • Able to provide customer service, attend  to customer complaints and able to resolve issues.

     Sales Executive B2B

    On behalf of our client a manufacturing company in the business of manufacturing drums, household goods and furniture. We require the following individuals to join their team:

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    OVERVIEW

    The role is a newly established position with the primary objective of supporting the Head of Sales and Marketing B2B in the sales function for the preforms and closures business vertical. The individual is expected to provide support towards the achievement of sales growth and profitability in driving new business in line with company vision and values.
    The individual will need to execute the overall B2B sales strategy and sales management in order to expand the customer base in the market.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the leadership of Head of Sales and Marketing, the individual will be required to carry out the following for the B2B market:

    1.        Sales Strategy

    • Execute the group’s B2B sales strategy in order to maximize sales.
    • Provide support in B2B customer interaction and improved relationships.
    • Execute the sales policies, processes, tools and techniques.
    • Meet key B2B customers and provide insights with our offerings on preforms and closures product range and identify schemes and other solutions which we can offer including our existing customer base.

    2.        Marketing Activities

    • Regular market visits to meet existing customers and to add new customers.
    • Resolve issues or problems faced by customers in order to meet customer and business objectives.
    • Keep track of competition in terms of new capacity addition, new SKU development, pricing of existing SKU’s.

    3.        Sales Management

    • Prepare monthly sales forecast and ensure the forecasted volumes are achieved for both Preforms & Closures.
    • Monitor customer activities and post sales follow up with customers.
    • Liaise with appropriate warehouse staff on inventory and supply related matters.
    • Liaise with Production/Quality staff on quality related issues faced by customers, ensure proper & swift resolution is provided to customer.
    • Ensure product pricing is competitive where there is competition for a product. Maximize pricing opportunities where our products command a higher position compared to our competitor’s product.
    • Cross check & approve customer sales orders, invoices & delivery waybills, as well as following up and confirming customer payments.
    • Ensure Order-to-Payment cycle is followed strictly.

    4.        Reporting

    • Provide inputs daily on B2B order balances and collections.
    • Review monthly, quarterly and annual sales report with Head of Sales.
    • Manage and compile internal reports, as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Should have at least 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing of Preforms & Closures.
    • An MBA with a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising or a related field is required.
    • Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts.
    • Must be self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
    • Must pocess computer knowledge, should be able to use programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Tally ERP9 is desirable.
    • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

    Production Supervisor    

    On behalf of our client a manufacturing company in the business of manufacturing drums, household goods and furniture. We require the following individuals to join their team:

    OVERVIEW

    The Production Supervisor will assist the production manager with his responsibilities on the factory floor. He will assist in ensuring all manpower and machines are being utilized to maximum efficiency levels with minimum down time.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1.            Inventory

    Maintaining warehouse records such as preparing reconciliation statements of raw material, diesel, spare parts and any other consumables.

    2.            Production and Maintenance

    • Assists in driving manufacturing tools and techniques fostering continuous improvement within the facility.
    • Assists with the overall strategic planning efforts for the location which include cost reduction initiatives, capital planning and resources as well as in other areas.
    • Manages the overall safety, quality, scheduling, production, logistics, maintenance and other administrative functions for the facility.
    • To ensure the factory is operating within all company guidelines and local/state/federal regulations.
    • To assist in setting, maintaining and monitoring the processing parameters on machine and moulds as per cycle time and targets established.
    • Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding machines and down line equipment.
    • Assist with the generation of machine breakdown history and root cause analysis report and provide the action plan to the general manager.
    • To update on necessary spare parts (local & overseas) requirements for prompt maintenance of machines and utilities.

    3.            Manpower

    • To ensure all manpower requirements such as operators, electricians, fitters & workers are available and trained accordingly.
    • To develop and motivate staff in an effort to optimize the workforce.
    • Maintain discipline among the workforce

    4.            Reports

    • Manages all inventory lists related to the Maintenance department
    • Assist in the preparation of daily report on power consumption of the Generators, PHCN report, Air compressor report and the water PH value of the cooling tower report
    • Assist in the preparation of machine break down reports, mould change reports, machine maintenance history card reports.
    • Assist in the preparation of the daily consumables spares reports

    5.            Housekeeping

    Ensure proper housekeeping is always observed in the factory

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Diploma in engineering or operations
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process Improvement roles including managing a team
    • Proven experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Experience with plastic injection molding environment is a must.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing plant production with process development and business process design.
    • Experience managing to the ISO or equivalent quality standards
    • Knowledge on Milacron/Ferromatik/Jon Wai machines preferably worked in manufacturing company having knowledge of PET injection moulding process and moulds.
    • Knowledge in Safe System of works and good exposure to ISO 9000 Environment will be an added advantage.
